For Craglor and Wrothgar which are not displayed for you. I have no idea for the moment. When I will have survey for these maps, I will change my game language to other languages and check if they are displayed (For Russian, I will just check if I have the same number of lines listed, I can't read Cyrillic). Maybe I already fixed it in the next release without realising it |

It is not English, yes. All other names are ok ecxept Coldharbour which is just listed as Cold. But it is still in list. Craglorn and Wrothgar are missing totaly. I thought that it may have something to do with numbers in survey's name, but Coldharbour also has numbers... But it has only half of its name as in Russian it is like Cold Harbour (two words, and addon cut the second away) Doesnt know if that helps

It's strange yes. Do you always have the exact name of the survey ? (It's not a problem if it's not in English because I find zone name from the survey name, so the issue can be from there)

The bug I have is on my development version (so not published) because I add the detection if we have done all the 6 nodes of a spot, and it's not perfect for the moment. I understand what you want, maybe I had to explain wrong what I was thinking (English is not my native and I already have trouble explaining in my native language, so in another language... ) However, thank to explain more, now I'm really sure to have understood (and it's what I had understood). And I think add this will help me too. Last time, I came back 3 times on a spot where I had ended surveys before understand there was nothing left here On the other hand, I can't tell you when I will do it. Between my work, my health and guild events, it's sometimes hard to find times. I hope soon though. Not to forget (it's already happening on another addon), I have created the github issue. But for some reason it doesn`t see my surveys in Craglorn and Wrothgar. Other seems ok not that it is too bad, but still strange... |

Needed the bag space so I did my 99 Alchemy surveys yesterday. As far as I saw. Your addon caught the survey disappearing from my inventory every single time when I harvested the first resource. So don't seem to have witnessed the bug. Or it is not in your current live version. Or we were not talking about the same kind of counter. Maybe you were talking about a counter of the current survey harvesting process? Starts at 6. I harvest one. 5. and so on? While I meant a counter (well or dingding) about how many more surveys I have for the current location. Say Wrothgar yesterday. I had 8 Surveys for the 3 Alchemy locations. Split 3-3-2. So your addon would display 3-8. I finish one survey (all 6 resources). Run away and back to make them respawn. Harvest first resource and your addon would go 3-7. Same again. 3-6. And same again and it would go 2-5. This is the dingding moment for me. When number of locations goes down by one. So I get prominent feedback (auditory or visual) that I dont have to do the run away and back to make resources respawn anymore. But can go to next location. I could just watch your window like a hawk obviously. But truth is I kinda space out into a meditative? state sometimes when I have more than 3 or 4 surveys for one location. And I run away and back even if last survey for that location is used up because I didn't notice. and wonder why the heck it didnt respawn this time.... So the dingding or prominent visual feedback would be to make me snap out of that space-out state ;-) hope makes sense. Anyway. Not really a biggie. And your addon already made my survey runs so much easier. so thanks a lot and good luck tracking down your bug. Am officially survey free now. So wont be able to help. cheers

really strange a survey disappearing from inventory would get missed. If you need another beta tester... I did most round already. Only have alchemy left. But likely have surveys for most locations.... cheers

For the moment I'm working to have a counter about the current survey. But, after tests by guild mates and myself, it's not a 100% success (I suppose it's about the loot speed between a node and another). I will do a release soon with the counter (and a "beta" mention on it). I am one of those who do not like noise, but I understand, so I can add it and add a setting to enable it and choose the ding to use. I think I will be connecting it to the counter to have it when the site is done (the survey map is consumed when we loot the first node), but like I said, the counter has some fail sometimes, so it will be possible that sometimes the sound will not be played. |

what an awesome quality of live addon! Thanks for the work. what would be really neat is if it would do a little ding noise whenever number of sites per zone changes. thanks to having finished the current survey location :-) maybe make it configurable? for ding noise hating ppl? cheers

Sorry for the delay, I had concentrated on finishing my other addon because I have kept too many items for tests and all my storage become full (really too much to be able to wait for Monday). I do some tests this morning about keybinding :

About the keybind.
I noticed that if I save the keybind only for one character I'm playing it doesn't save. However if I set the selection from Votan's addon to save the keybind account wide it does save normally. Could there be somekind of conflict with the base game ? Have you tried to turn off the accountwide option for your survey addon keybind ? Does it still remember your keybinding when you reloadui ? Or when you disable Votan's Keybinder altogether? |
