What's it for?
Every crafter knows it - you deconstruct a ton of drops, and suddenly your bags are full with Flint and Bone. Or you log on your bank character, look into the desks for the chance of a motif, and stuff your valuable bag space with Manganese and Molybdenum.
I needed an addon to handle the flood of incoming style items, so I created one.
What does it do?
StyleTrasher handles all the common style items that you get when deconstructing. It does not touch Daedra Hearts, Palladium, Copper or Argentum.
You now can define two hotkeys. One throws all style items away, the other one marks all of them as junk. Both hotkeys only work when the bags are open or you are at the crafting station, still not sure why.
Why would I want that? I need them for crafting!
Because you can buy all of these from the crafting vendor anyway.
If you junk the items and then sell all junk, you won't get any money for them, but you can get them back for free from the "buy back"-menu at the vendor, which is what my betrothed prefers. I am a Telvanni, I throw the horse away because the saddlebags are full and then purchase a new one.
How did you make it?
I relied upon the code from
Thenedus's Junkee for the key binding and
Garkin's Dustman for the structure and the data file.
The addon doesn't feature any kind of interface yet, only key bindings, but I included some pretty noob-safe documentation, in case I ever have to touch it again.
