For enchantment only : new interface to create or destroy glyph more easily!

- you know what you craft (info & tooltip preview)
- multiple craft
- identify unknown runes to gain more xp for discover
- swap between rune's name and info
- destroy all your glyphs with one click (with filter on bag/bank)
- choose which rune's type placed first (essence or potency)
- display maked glyph's keyword on runes

and make your cratfing quest more easily


Language supported: FR, EN, DE (thx to Resakier & Baertram), ES

For ES translation, I used Googletrad and do my best ^^ If a spanish player want to make a correct translation, he can PM me.

- add a bag / bank filter
- multilanguage support
- add quality colors
- add system message for rune's gain in glyph's extraction
- more info in terms of rune's selection
- compatibility with MultiCraft
- add slash commands : /merlin to show interface, /merlincfg for the settings (LAM2)

Resizable Window

I'd like to start by saying I really like this Addon!

I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement window sizing, but the window currently takes up a lot of space.

I think it would be cool if the window acted similar to the vanilla chat window.
(the ability to grab the edges and expand or contract the window to your desired size without changing the font size and icon sizes)

For people who like compact windows like I do this would make the interface much more appealing to look at.

I have no other complaints :P Overall.. Great Addon!

Which version of Multicraft do you have ? because in the last one (v2-3/3/15 not updated...), "math.floor" is not used in the multicraft.lua file...

Wandamey, I did not think about Itemsaver and I apologize.

I've used it for so long to mark my equipment materials without impact, that it never occurred to me that it would prevent enchanting.
I did try your suggested line changes and they made no difference, apparently because it was user error. I changed the setting to ignore Itemsaver, and all is well.

Thank you for your patience and help, and my apologies for my error.

We can try two other little things to prevent potential issues with other addons:

open the file "KhrillMerlinTheEnchanter.lua" in the addon folder

line 1177 replace :
local pos, i, sumStack, stack
by
local pos, i, sumStack, stack, _

then after the line 1758, add this line :

local typeRune2Print, index, message2print, name2print, icon2print
if this is enough to solve the issue, thanks for telling me, i'll update the file.

Your first report was perfectly clear, I know what a rekuta is. But you seem to have changed your habits and use your bank/bags on different characters, I though maybe you did withdraw all jejota by accident on another character then none appeared on the first character.

Whatever, I can't reproduce the problem at all.
The total amount of what I'm carrying/bank is shown as well as the right amount in each bag.

Codewise, both bags work exactly the same way and I couldn't find any typo.

The only other hypothesis I can think of is that maybe you did lock your runes with an addon such as ItemSaver or FCO Item Saver. there must be options to tweak their interactions with Merlin in the settings.

It's possible that some of the very new runes would have this problem but absolutely not the aspect runes which are all referenced in the addon for a loong time. So there must be an issue with some settings somewhere. I used the default ones to test.

If you didn't lock your runes or transfered them to another char and still have the issue, please try this :

- backup you settings (a screenshot would do for a report, 2 if you need to scroll to see them all, or backup you saved variables lua file if you want to re-use them later in case settings are not involved in the issue)
- then restore the defaults one (there is a button in the setting panel for this)

try to play around see if it's better.
if it doesn't help, reinstall the very last version of the addon.

The issue is very consistent. My crafter can make up to purple glyphs, if that wasn't clear. I am aware the runes above the currently unlocked skill are never shown.

In my case, there is a partial stack of all glyphs in the bank.
If a [full] stack also exists in personal inventory, then that glyph is not shown on the Merlin UI and cannot be used to make a glyph. Only the glyphs in my bank that are not also in inventory are shown.

Since the bank is too small to hold all crafting materials, much less extra stacks, please fix this problem.

Hi, thanks for the report. I've tried it a bit to see if I could reproduce the issue, and came to this hypothesis :

did you reskill recently? The UI seem to show only the aspect runes you are able to use.
I was able to see only ta and jejota, then I added a skill point to "Aspect Improvement" ability and was able to see Denata.

maybe Jejota is not present in one of your bags (backpack or bank) and it added to the confusion. (I don't know if by "toggling" you meant open or close, so just for further checks : when highlited orange, the bag is active, if grey, the bag is inactive)

If the problem persists, thanks for reporting again, as for now i can't seem to reproduce it.
