    Now you can sort your inventories by item quality!

    Quality Sort adds a sorting option to the right of "Name" in your backpack, craft bag, bank, guild bank, quick slot, transmute, crafting station, send mail, trade, Companion equipment and Giladil the Ragpicker deconstruction assistant lists. Use it just like the other sort headers.

    Options/Settings

    In the options menu, you can choose to automatically sort by quality or not.

    You can also customize the sort priorities and initial directions. Currently, the following options are available for each priority number, along with a direction of either Ascending or Descending:
    • (None), for disabling a comparison
    • Quality
    • Equipped, for transmute and improvement stations
    • Item Set
    • Equipment Slot (e.g. chest, shoulders, etc.)
    • Item Name
    • Level / Champion Points
    • Trait
    • Enchantment
    • Style
    • Unique Item Identifier, i.e. the number at the start of the raw item link text
    • Writ Voucher Count
    • Master Writ Requirements
    • Stack Size / Quantity

    Dependencies

    You must install the following libraries separately from this addon in order for it to work. I highly recommend using the Minion addon manager to simplify this process.

    Lightbulb Need Armor Type Sorting
    Actually, I take back what I said before.
    I do need to be able to sort by equipment type, too. (Light, medium, heavy.)

    Right now, I have it as:
    1. Equipment Slot
    2. Trait
    3. Item Name
    4. Quality

    But, while looking through my inventory, unless I use the sub-categories and filters, I end up looking at a light reinforced belt, then a medium or heavy reinforced belt, then another type (medium or heavy) I haven't seen yet. (If that makes sense..... I apologize if it doesn't.)
    When I'm wanting to see all LIGHT armor organized by slot and trait, THEN medium armor in order by slot and trait, and then finally heavy armor in order by slot and trait.

    Could you include a way to sort by equipment type, please? I'd love you forever! Haha.

    Don't think it's a specific setting - I've got excatly the same behaviour for about a week. I have disabled all other addons & libs to prevent them from affecting the behavior.
    Maybe @silvereyes can look into it? I love the addon, even though it doesn't work right for me at the moment.

    I'm having an issue with the add-on since update. The only feature I used was to automatically sort everything from Highest Quality to Lowest Quality. I the feature set to auto sort. So every time I opened my bag I would see yellow items first.

    I've tried disabling all "Sort Order" options but #1. I currently have it set to Quality.     Could you add armor type? So it sorts by Light, Medium, Heavy?
    It might actually be better to split those up, if it's possible. Because some people may want to organize by Medium, Light, then Heavy. Or Heavy, Light, then Medium. Who knows? lol
    However you feel is best is okay by me!

    It would really help me look through the gear I'm saving for alts in my bank.

    Edit/Update: You know what? I'm a dumb-dumb that's not awake yet. I can use the sorting buttons that are in the UI already. Sorry. But, maybe it'd be handy to have those types available for sorting anyway? **shrug** Up to you!

    I'm also having the same issue. No matter what sort order I make, it always sorts as if "Quality" is in the #1 spot.

    This addon doesn't support sorting by any more than a single sort header. It isn't intended to be a general-purpose sorting addon, like Circonian's defunct SortIt addon. It's just a dedicated sort header for quality, and it happens to allow some secondary sorting and shuffling of priorities. If you want to sort by level as the first priority, you can do that by changing the priorities in settings, but there's no quick way to toggle.

    Nope, I didn't even have it before LOL

    Did the last version have it imbedded? I didn't have any issue rolling back to previous w/o it.
