Overview

This addon tracks your sloted actions that have duration attributes or over time effects, reminds you to re-invoke your actions, and makes you good at performing rotations.

Features
  • Show current action duration remaining seconds in action bar,
  • Show a shift bar of swapped action hints above their original action bar position,
  • Auto move player resource bars upward when they are conflicted with shift bar,
  • Support actions without duration attribute but have DOT effects such as Desctructive Touch or other timed effect such as Elemental Drain,
  • Keep the ending 0.0 hints blinking for a little longer after duration finished, so they don't get lost easily,
  • Switch correspongding timer hints for current reticle over target,
  • Support actions stackable effect counting such as nightblade's Grim Focus and its morphs,
  • Append shift bar on top of ultimate button to show third ability bar such as overload bar action timer hints,
  • Override action duration with target debuff effect, e.g. change Beast Trap's 60s timeout to 6s timeout after triggered.
  • Support stackable or time lasting effectes triggered by equipment to be marked onto related action bar slots.

Hey!

Thanks a lot for the update and implementing my/our suggestions/wishes!
  • Switching from Beast Trap to the 6 second timer works okay. Haven't tested Rearming Trap yet.
  • When the option is active to have an audio cue for buffs about to run out, can we have the on-screen message be displayed then, instead of when the buff does run out? And only one sound please, not one for "about to run out" and one for "has run out".
  • The function (API call?) being used for the notification has quite a bit of delay. E.g. if two buffs run out at roughly the same time, it takes >2 seconds after the first notification vanished for the second to appear.
    Could you maybe do it like BuffTimers and use a simple line that appears and disappears immediately? And when there's multiple buffs running out during the duration of the notification, have both/all of them be listed at once instead of one after the other?
  • If possible, can you avoid showing the timeout notification / playing the timeout sound for DoTs that run out because the target died?
  • I noticed that, once a skill square on the skill bar has been "processed" by the plugin, when switching skill bars it no longer shows that "page flipping" animation, but the skill images get replaced instantly. Merely cosmetic, just wanted to mention it.

Thanks so much for the awesome addon and the constant updates and fixes. This is now one of my must-haves. One minor suggestion I have is adding the option to disable automatically moving the resource bars up. Doesn't work well with my pixel-perfect OCD.

Thank you for your report. It seems that you are not using version later than v1.18. Maybe try again after upgrade.

Thank you for your report. It seems that you are not using version later than v1.18. Maybe try again after upgrade.
That could be right before I updated and reloaded the UI! Well I got the latest now and so far everything is good

Please add toggle for resource bar position.

As I reported before, the resource bars continue to be moved above my action bar when I have a timer up on the second action bar. I do not want this to happen. I keep my resource bars very close together and under the action bar, and version 1.08 I saw no conflict at all. With any version past 1.08, the bars move above the shift icons, and I do not want this to happen. I have reverted back to version 1.08 which seemed to work perfectly fine. I just worry that future patches will break this add on and the only updates will continue to move my resource bars. This add on works perfect for my Magicka Sorcerer since I need to use so many timed abilities, and you have done such a great job with it. I hope you can add a toggle to leave my resource bars alone. Thanks.

I just hadn't thought of this situation. Fixed in v1.20.

Thank you. Can you show me your screen shot? This issue might be fixed in current version(v1.21). If your resource bars are still auto moved after upgrade, maybe they are considered overlap with shift bar because the gap option is set too big.

Once more, thanks for your great work!

I have another feature request. I tried the plugin on my healer for the first time today, and noticed that when using Healing Springs, you get a quite constant stream of skill duration reminders.

Hmm, maybe you could add a kind of "blacklist" for skills to ignore? And/or maybe a "minimum skill duration", to have skills shorter than that be always ignored? Since it doesn't really make sense to remind the player that the three-second Healing Springs is about to run out.

Grrreat!

Okay now here comes a biggie. I'd unterstand perfectly if you said "no that's too much hassle to implement".

Right now, I've set up BuffTimers to show like a "horizontal bar of progress bars" over my skill bar. I prefer to have a separate bar there as opposed to overlays over the skill bar rectangles.

Your implementation with the second bar for running skills on the inactive bar is great! Thing is, it introduces a bit of "restlessness" on the skill bar, with the timer rectangles constantly jumping up and down when switching bars.

During fight, I switch bars a lot. Still I like to have the timers be in a straight line, always in the same place, so I can have half an eye on that bar to quickly see if all buffs/dots are up. If something in the line is missing, I know I have to recast something.

Here's a screenshot:

I have a bar for my dots (only for Endless Hail since BuffTimers can't track Poison Injection) over skills 1 and 2, there's one for Beast Trap over skill 3 on the other bar, one under Siphoning Attacks because on bar 2 there's one above it for my Major Brutality buff, and one over Relentless Focus.

Maybe, just maybe, you could think about something like this for an alternative way of implementing your timers visually?
