I also noticed that your callback name is set to "UtilNetworking" in the front of the network module, but the way it's stored in the saved variables is different, I think, so I'm not sure if it's handling it correctly in initialize. Again, I could be totally wrong here. I'm not a LUA coder at all. I'll run the debugger on it and come back if I find something else. |

Are you running other addons in addition? Have you tried to only run RdK Group Tool w/o any other addons? This behavior sounds quite similar to something I've experienced elsewhere and thought this is NOT part of the addon. And I personally do not experience this. Might be related to different game settings. Could you try RdK Group Tool standalone? Could you provide some sort of audio track / video of the ticks? |

Hi Sordak. Once again, thanks for all of your work on this amazingly useful addon. I have a an issue I was hoping to get guidance on.
I posted a while about this, but when our group enters Cyrodiil, or joins a group in Cyrodiil, we start to get a rhythmic clicking sound that never stops. It can be made to go away by turning Networking off and on again. Once you've done this, it does not need to be done again until you log off. When I zone in solo, I hear this sound once and then it stops, but when grouped, it just keeps going. I thought that I had this fixed once upon a time - it stopped doing this when I deleted the additional libraries from the RDK folder when they were already loaded, but it seems to have returned and won't go away even if I delete the redundant libraries. If I leave group, it stops. This effect does not change if I change network settings to queue or direct. If you need me to send settings or a debug log or anything, please let me know. It's not just me that this is happening to, everyone in my guild has this issue. |

Feedback
So this addon works well, and I'd like to stress that I haven't had any serious issues with bugs so far.
That being said, I still think there's room for improvement in terms of the design. I recognize that there are a ton of modules in the addon itself, but... the settings menu? It's honestly a mess. Having to scroll for a while and search through ALL of the modules is incredibly time consuming, not to mention highly inaccessible for people who may have issues reading text on a screen. I don't know if it's possible to rework the settings gui to make it easier to navigate. It might not be. If that's the case, however, I also think all of the modules except for the profile should by default be off. Although I do appreciate that the addon does not default the modules' readouts to a stuck position, and instead has them automatically be draggable on my screen. All in all, though, I like this addon. It's working very well for me so far and doesn't conflict with anything else I use in Cyrodiil, which is incredibly useful given how hard it is to find addons that DON'T bog down my computer to hell and back while in Cyrodiil, lol. Thank you again for making this addon. |

The libraries should not be loaded when already present as the manifest files contains a version information of the library, if the same version or a newer is present, the old / other library won't be loaded. In regards of CC: What you are looking for is currently not present in RdK Group Tool. You might want to check out miats cc alerts. |

To answer your library question: I received too many requests about the libraries and people unable to run the addon. Therefore, I've added them directly again. I might change that in a future release, but for now, they are there to stay. |

Re: Re: Question about RDK and evolution
Don't know if that's feasible at all, just thought I would throw it out there. Thanks ya'll for the amazing add-on and all the work you put into it. <3 |

Re: Question about RDK and evolution
I do not think it is feasible in reasonable way. Take a look at the following thread: https://www.esoui.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9551 I agree with the opinion of other addon developers there. |

Question about RDK and evolution
Hello,
and first of all thank you for your addon. I have a question for rdk developers: as you know since the last update of ESO in Cyrodiil, we can only group by 12. When we want to play in 2 groups, it is very difficult to follow the lead which is in group 1 (there is no light beam). Based on your programming knowledge, would it be possible to display a light beam on the lead of the other group? |

I'll update the addon today or tomorrow and include the newest versions of the libraries. In mid to long term i'll reconsider my stance on libraries and might remove them in a subsequent addon release. Edit: RdK Group Tool currently is the only one of my addons that includes libraries. The others should have all libraries removed for quite a while now. I simply got annoyed by things not working with that "new" approach that did cost too much time...

Fully understood
I recommand writing the libs to the description, as well as links to the help forums e.g. https://www.esoui.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9149 Most users know what to do meanwhile, and the others need to learn it as well. Not my decision, correct. But the problems we had because of included libs outweight the problems users have about downloading and installing libraries (e.g. via Minion it's 1 search and 2 more clicks!). btw: Including older libs will not load them at all if newer versions are realeased, as long as they are included with their own txt file. The addon manager will check the ## AddOnversion tag and ONLY load the newest found, no matter in what addon folder (up to the subfolder depth of 3). It would only be possible to load them "hardcoded" from your txt file, without including their own txt file. But if you do this, you'll end with way more problems, like old included LAM versions showed last year e.g.

I actually did that (exclude libraries) in the past. The result was that i got more and more whispers, private messages and stuff like that, which was quite a bit a waste of time (either due to player unable to install things, bugs in newer library versions and stuff like that). Therefore, I went back to include them (and kept them mostly up to date or at least in version where everything was working together - and yes, i missed a few updates lately). But I'll reconsider and might give it another try. |

Hey Sordrak,
your are including old versions of the libraries, e.g. LibAddonMenu-2.0, LibfoodDrinkBuff, LibGPS, ... In the idea of libraries please do not include them in the subfolders but just name the dependencies in the ## DependsOn: ## OptionalDependsOn: , add them to your addon's description text and let the users install the dependencies on their own. They are used to it very much meanwhile and this shouldn't be such a problem like including libraries with older versions. Even if you properly include the txt files of the libs they are just "dead" or might lead to errors! Please think about removing those that got their own txt, thank you.
