Modified Version of LorePlay by Calamath

Description:
This is a modified version of Justinon's LorePlay add-on, distributed under the Artistic License 2.0 as same as the standard version.
See the description of the standard version below for general LorePlay features.

https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info...tsandmore.html

Needed libraries/dependencies:
YOU NEED TO INSTALL THE FOLLOWING LIBRARY SEPARATELY.
- LibAddonMenu (Version 2.0r34 or later)

Modification details:
- Forked from Justinon's standard version 1.5.1
- Removed embedded LibStub and LibAddonMenu-2.0 libraries, you now need to have LibAddonMenu-2.0 separately.
- Major Revamp of LoreWear Feature
- LoreWear now support for six non-English language modes: DE, FR, JP, RU, ES and ZH
- Support for following DLCs and Chapters: Clockwork City, Summerset, Murkmire, Elsweyr, Dragonhold, Greymoor, Markarth, Blackwood, Deadlands, High Isle, Firesong and Necrom.

- [COMPATIBILITY-BREAKING CHANGE]
The various zone and city recognitions have been rewritten to a brand-new identifier based approach by Calamath.
As the result, the boundaries of whether the add-on recognizes cities may be slightly different from the standard version.

[LoreWear 2.0]
- Complete transition to Calamath's new outfit change algorithm.
- Five optional outfit preset slots with versatility, in addition to the existing four basic slots.
- Option to register as an alternative preset for your favorite outfits.
- New shortcut key to switch today's prefered clothes from your multiple outfit presets.
- Optional support for changing costumes according to riding, fighting and swimming.
- Support for outfit system introduced by Dragonbone DLC.

Instruction:
- If you want to run this modified version, you'll need to replace the standard version of LorePlay by Justinon.
Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you use minion to create a backup with save data, or save the backup manually.

Comments from the author:
I think Justinon's originality Lore Play has some cool ideas. One of my favorite is a location-based event-driven.
That's why I was disappointed that some features of the current standard version didn't work well in non-English modes.

DISCLAIMER:
With the current game specs, it is not easy for the Eso UI to recognize if your avatar is in a city or not, unlike the players themselves.
Also, this type of processing will need to be updated every time they introduce a new area by the future DLCs or Chapters.
I'm not responsible for any future maintenances. But it's better than leaving it buried this cool add-on.

Hi SkyrimDovahkin!
At the moment it is a bit technically difficult to recognize the boundaries of the city, so I am glad you like that.

Absolutely brilliant! Ive been using since November and recommend your addon often as it really adds so much more dimension to the game (and love that I can actually use more of the outfits I have!)!

[edited to remove my question about how to set different Character Screen Outfit Slots- I found the option in the lore wear section, under management- use favorite outfits managed at armory stations ]

Perhaps you have misunderstood something fundamental.
The Idle Emotes feature of this add-on will trigger a random emote from the multiple EmoteIndexes listed in a Lua table shown earlier.
I've pasted here the changes you originally posted to remove the /rake emote from the list of candidate emotes in the player house.

I do not offer support for individual customization of this add-on, so from here on out you will have to do your own trial and error.

EmoteIndex in ESO is not guaranteed to have a unique value for each emote. Future updates to ESO may change the index number.
In fact, it has changed many times in the past. So you could not get a list of EmoteIndexes by looking online.

However, you can actually trigger the emote by writing the following script in the chat section.

/script PlayEmoteByIndex(191)

You can attempt any EmoteIndex other than 191.

Good luck ;-)

Hi linkelolo !

You can do this by editing the following table in the IdleEmotes.lua file.

Lua Code:
  1. defaultIdleTable = {
  2.
  3. -- (Omitted) --
  4.
  5.         ["Housing"] = {
  6.             [1] = 10,
  7.             [2] = 10,
  8.             [3] = 99,
  9.             [4] = 119,
  10.             [5] = 192,
  11.             [6] = 192,
  12.             [7] = 9,
  13.             [8] = 177,
  14.             [9] = 207,
  15.             [10] = 208,
  16.             [11] = 125,
  17.             [12] = 125,
  18.             [13] = 118,
  19.             [14] = 116,
  20.         }
  21.     }

The emote index for /rake is 191.
The numbers in the square brackets must be sequentially numbered from 1.

Hi fiorewyn!
Unfortunately, the answer is no.

Under the current ESOUI specifications, if you change your favorite mount, the system will force you to dismount.
This means if our add-on automatically switches your favorite mounts at city boundaries, you will always fall off your horse at the city boundary while riding.
The Mount support feature was removed during our prototyping as it makes the gameplay experience significantly worse.
I think the standard version of Justinon did not handle mounts for the same reason.
Thank you.

Trying to do something special during in-game events is indeed an attempt to make the game more fun.

The problem is that there is currently no way for the add-on itself to know the duration of in-game events.
If we implement your idea in LorePlay, we will have to keep updating the add-on with each new in-game event announcement.
It is difficult to maintain such activities on an annual basis.

Your idea has been placed on our wish list.

Honestly I didn't even think about linking it to the in-game event dates, I was thinking of just around the time that they typically happen, sort of in anticipation of them and then winding down celebrations afterwards. Thanks for the response though!

Y'know Lore Wear has those additional presets, things like Riding Clothes and Wet Suit? Would it be possible to add some new options based on the IRL date? I'd really enjoy if my character equipped some festive items during the holidays. I'm specifically keen on New Life, Jester's Festival, and Witches Festival, but the more options the merrier. It could override the Housing and City presets where most characters would be in the holiday wear. Wouldn't be too safe to assault Castle Thorn while dressed for a Winter feast.

Thanks for the great work on this addon!
