Votan's Improved Quests  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.1.1
by: votan [More]
Description
This addon improves the "Quests" tab of the World Map window:
  • The list is not (re-)build until you open the map. If you travel around without opening the map, no UI action is done in the background.
  • The quests are categorized into: Current map, crafting quests, guild quests, quests in other zones, others. In this order.
Quests will move to the first category, if valid for the current shown map.
version 1.1.1:
- Update to API 100024 "Wolfhunter".
- New library load structure.
- Update to LibAddonMenu rev. 26.

version 1.1.0:
- API bump 100023 "Sommerset".
- New Quest-Tracker.

version 1.0.10:
- Do not hook "ShouldMapShowQuestsInList" before settings are available. (maybe fixes nil error)

version 1.0.9:
- API bump for "Dragon Bones".
- Double-Click a quest does "Show On Map". Same as the single-click option in the settings.
- Added zone name to quest tool-tip.

version 1.0.8:
- API bump for Clockwork City.
- Update to LAM rev. 25.

version 1.0.7:
- API bump for Horns of the Reach.

version 1.0.6:
- API bump for Morrowind.
- Correction in French localization by @lexo1000.

version 1.0.5:
- Fixed an issue that not all quests were shown, if they are not in the first category (current map).
- New options: "Show Quests on World Map" and "Always Show On Map".
- Localization. Thanks to @lexo1000 for french translation.

version 1.0.4:
- ESO 2.7 'Homestead' ready.

version 1.0.3:
- Russian translation. Thanks to @Scope.

version 1.0.2:
- Gamepad support.

version 1.0.1:
- Fixed "no quests" label not disappearing.

version 1.0.0:
- initial

It is sunday. And still night in the USA. You have to wait until the addon passes the approval.
Ok, no worries. Maybe this is then something for Esoui and Minion makers to look into - to not even show it as available for update while pending approval.

As a compromise I will pimp the tooltip.

Ok. There is an option to do that on a single click already.

Example of why this has started bothering me is playing through all of the quest in each zone in order, there is always the main quest that carries you into the next zone. Which means to find it in the quest list I have to open the map, zoom out to world view, then zoom in on the new zone I'm going too, then clicking the quest arrow on the map to select it as the active quest. That's the fastest way.

Sorry if I'm missing a detail or if I'm doing something wrong. Just giving you my feed back, however poor it might be..
Thanks. I have a look, what I can do.

Thank you!
Yep. I missed that, too.
Cant wait for this
