Backstory

Hydra9268: On March 23, 2018, Zygor Guides announced that they would end support for their ESO guide. Later, via answers given on the forums, they confirmed they would not add a leveling guide for Summerset. Their guide is Public Domain with Zygor's blessing for the community to create guides. So I took it upon myself to create a Summerset guide for the ESO community.

Please note, we can provide some support for existing bugs. However, please remember that we did not author the tool nor Zygor's original guides, so our experience is limited. Nevertheless, should you find a bug, let us know in the comments, and we'll try to patch it up. While we welcome any help with the guide, we need assistance most with optimizing the Lua script. Feel free to fork the project's Github and see where you can make improvements. Thank you.

No shade on the addon, it's great. I just feel really REALLY dumb lol.
its part of the prologue intro you have to go in their and talk to Lyris Titanborn and wait for the guy to show up and watch the dialog and then follow him at a distance to the ratways.

i wrote the guy so i know most of western skyrim guide like the back of my hand. i rewrote it twice and i still have to go back and tweak the maps a bit.
Thanks! I just finished all of western Skyrim. Great job with this guide, it was efficient and I felt like I was getting **** done real good ^_^

the addon quest map is a huge help for writting this guide i can map out everything before i ever start writting the guide. And i enjoy helping the community and with addons like this im helping myself as well as the community where my alts can just fly through this stuff.

Somehow when the guide was being authored that's who presented the quest and that depends on other factors.
that is very possible ZOS loves to reword quests or change npcs trust me i know i been working on the game fixing problems in it that have gradually developed over time.

Didn't take it that way. It was purely informational so that when it gets looked at maybe there is a way to avoid it or change order of events so that Tasnasi is the quest giver.
There also appears to be more than 1 issue in this quest chain, the second being NPC location markers being incorrect, see Guide step 284.
ill take a look at it

Oh it's not a personal attack at all, my only interest is in fixing issues. The information is clearly incorrect for this particular issue, specifically the entire Tasnasi quest chain is all about NPC's and events that take place specifically at 'The Stiches', which is Tasnasis home, her family and friends are all from this location and her story is told at this place with these characters who all play their part in it. At no time do any NPC's at Riverhold have any role in her story flow. I have been using Zygor for some time on 18 different characters, the only time that quests go a different way is if you do not follow the exact guide flow step by step and this is a rare thing in a very limited set of circumstances when it does happen ... sometimes decisions that are made off the guide mentioned quest path can send you on a different alternate quest, but after that quest is completed it always comes back to the guide flow. This is not one of those instances as this is only a single quest from the same NPC's simply documented incorrectly, there is no second quest path deviation based on an incorrectly made player quest decision. I'd even fix it myself if I knew how to do it.

I have found a bug in the Elsweyr Guide at step 140. It says to talk to "Tasnasi" and Accept 'Thick as Thieves', but the location marker(white 'X') is located just infront of the Banished Regrets Inn all the way back in Riverhold, leading the player to go back to Riverhold and scratch their head as there is no NPC named Tasnasi in Riverhold. The NPC that starts this quest is actually located just west along the road from 'The Stitches' wayshrine that is discovered in step 139, the NPC that gives you this quest is named "Isadati" and not "Tasnasi". Tasnasi is located a few metres south of 'The Stitches' wayshrine on the way to 'The Stitches' camp/town. The next step of the quest advises you to then speak to Tasnasi after Isadati gives you the quest, but there is no guide step to do this. I had to speak to Tasnasi myself as a filler before continuing on with the guide steps.

Also, after step 140 there is no location marker to show where step 141+ are to be located, this does not show up on the zone map anywhere, there needs to be a breadcrumb marker there as the following steps are in the small area map within the zone map(a map within a map), same as when you go to the border of a town and the world map changes from Zone view to local area view.

Hope this helps to make the Elswyr guide better.

Bug#2 of Elswyr guide step 284, the location marker of Tasnasi is not the correct spot
