This addon allows you to set a default zoom for your world map. No more opening up the world map and having to zoom out to see the complete map. You can adjust the zoom in the settings. It's a pretty simple and straightforward addon.

This addon now also resets your zoom to your zoom level when you change zones.

This addon now also has an option to not force city/village zoom when you are riding with the world map open.

- Added a header in the settings menu, as this is required by LibAddonMenu (Thanks Garkin for pointing it out)
- Added an extra option to not force city/village zoom when enabled.
- Added a custom event that will track if the zone changed.

Just tested in Riften when you try to get from the whyshrine near Shor's Stone to the Vamp shrine you realy don't want to get the map zoomed in because then you don't see the the location of the vamp shrine..
If you can get this option to work it woud be great to have this as a toggle button when you open the map.

I will see if i can add a checkbox in the settings that would zoom out of city/village zoom. Even though i cant stop it from zooming to the city/village zoom. I could force it to zoom out as soon as it loaded the city village.

Well i use the LibAddonMenu to create the settings menu, the addon is 2 small to really affect fps drops, might be conflicting with other addons. Do you have more addons regarding the map?

I guess the issue is that you do not create header in your menu, description of LibAddonMenu says:

--Adding a header to display for your addon (required)--

So you basicly want to always see the zone you are in, if you would select so in the options?

Yes exapt for (solo/Group) Dungons or Instances. Is this possible?

The issue may be on his end because I had reported a similar problem with his settings menu in the past which I thought had been resolved. Also wanted to report that the addon name is being listed as "efaultWorldMapZoom" instead of "WorldMapZoom" Last edited by Fing3rz : 06/01/14 at 10:08 AM.
