Inventory Insight  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 3.26
by: manavortex, AssemblerManiac
One Inventory to rule them all!
(Items from banks, house storage, and all of the characters on your account! All in one place.)

What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, CraftBag and Storage Chests
  • tracks items in House(s) (configurable)
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character
  • keeps track of the space used/available for each character
  • allows filtering your inventory by item type
  • lets you search the items by name, or by set name
  • adds data to item tooltip showing you where that item is located (all popups/tooltips, or only when over the Inventory Insight window)

Recently added features:
  • FCO Item Saver integration
  • Guild banks tracking is now separate between world servers
  • Jewelry filter is now on main bar (to match rest of base UI)

Library dependencies: (all are available here at ESOUI)

Backlog:
  • Track multiple accounts: Voodoo might be possible

Where do I send massive qtys of gold or mats (or not so massive)?
We gladly accept donations:
NA: @AssemblerManiac
EU: @manavortex
3.26
- close button can now be set hidden (Inv Insight can still be toggled by key, or from settings)
- when you stop tracking a guild bank, all of it's items will be successfully removed from list
- tooltip (popup static and mouseover) now obey the "when to show IIfA data" settings
- Elsweyr style names added

- now using numerics as keys in more places to improve speed
- runeboxes are now stored as an ID instead of a link to prevent embedded level info from causing phantom duplicates to show
- new min/max button to blend in better with overall theme

3.24
- worn indicator now has tooltip so you can see what it means
- when you right click an itemlink now, you can set the IIfA filter to the item name so you can quickly find it in the list. It also makes IIfA visible.

- Improved text search processing (a "-" in Twice-born star doesn't fail to find anything anymore)
- Added writ vouchers to Gold Info popup

2.11
- Right click options for Link to chat and missing motif processing (when you're trying to build a set before learning it OR already know it and are building a set for someone else)

2.9
- New setting (Search Set Names) to control how the text filter works. If on, typing in the search filter will also show items with set names (it's additive, so it works by item name OR set name).
- New item on the list GUI. Directly above the text search area, there's a checkbox "Filter on Set Name only". When checked, ONLY items from Named Sets (crafted or dropped) will appear in the list, and any text in the search box will be looked for only in set names, not the name of an item.

- added sub filter for Recipes - now lets you filter on Food, Blueprint, Praxis, etc.
- new icons for added motifs, updated motif text to match real names
- items are renamed at every login, and after reloadui. If you change language, the names on the items will now reflect that change, instead of only after one has been removed from everywhere and re-added

Another question please.. How can I sort by "sets name"? When I use the set filter on bottom, it still sorts by the item name and not by set name, so they are not grouped and I dont know how many pieces...

Thank you for such nice addon.

Do you plan on integrating with AutoCategory? That would be sweet, if we are able to use them for expand collapse ...

I use an Excel sheet, as lot of people I think, to track my builds and needed items and it would be great to have a list of all the gear I have with traits and enchants.
There's no way to create csv (or any other type) files with the embedded game LUA script. It would need to be done with external scripting. The problem with that is that an external script can't pull any of the object attributes because they're only avail through in game functions.
teso-delve addon manage to extract the data to a .lua file to import it in a website. The addon doesn't work anymore so I can't see what in the file produced that way.

Thanks anyway
Unless an external program is used to convert an LUA file to a CSV file, you can't just "read it" with a spreadsheet. Whatever import to website was being done, it wasn't using a vanilla CSV file, something was being done with the file to make it "usable".

Re: Re: Re: Clutter on the item popout window

It's under Tooltip dropdown, 2nd or third option (something about separate frame). Try flipping it to off.

I absolutely adore this addon, but this "moving" section is blocking my view of data and the little close window icon.

This looks like addon overload on the popup.

What happens if you change the IIfA setting for popups to remove the extra frame? (so all of the IIfA popup data is within the main popup instead of the separate frame)

I recently cleaned out a lot of my libs and addons and now in inventory insight I can't see how many I have of an item like I used to at the bottom, like when I would search for sealed writs, it used to say I have a total of X amount and bag space taken up in the addon window, now I just have to manually count. Is it because a lib I'm missing, or an option my blind self can't see?

This section will just overlay the info at the bottom with the 3 icons and item multiplier with character name when you just hover over the item. When I disable the addon this section stays at the bottom and the 3 icons bit is no longer there. I have looked through every setting I can think of and can not figure out how to turn off either section. I only need one. I think the 3 icons one is from the addon as it disappears when I disable the addon. I believe the section getting moved around is vanilla? I absolutely adore this addon, but this "moving" section is blocking my view of data and the little close window icon.

This looks like addon overload on the popup.

What happens if you change the IIfA setting for popups to remove the extra frame? (so all of the IIfA popup data is within the main popup instead of the separate frame)

In house storage (either placed items, or items in chests) is only available if you visit a house. They locked it up so that all house storage is only active while you're in one of your own houses.

You can turn on house placed item tracking, and chests should be tracked by default (I think).

Clutter on the item popout window

Hi,

first of all thanks for this nice addon, super helpful for me!

One feature I missed was to see the item quality/trait of other items of the same kind in the tooltip, which I implemented in my private fork, would be great to have this feature in the master branch though

can share the code if you are interested or do github(?) pull request!
