This addon related lag/crash has been talked about many times, I'm the one who tracked it down when it was originally caused by swapping horses with different carrying capacities.
My addons only run code slot update code when they have to, there is no way to to make it run less code & still be reliable.

2) i cant click on the name of the guild in chat to start typing in this chat - pChat feature. very usefull, now disabled if i use SGT
3) i can see timestamp only for system messages, even if i disable it in settings of SGT(i use the same option for time in pchat)...

few authors already start fixing their addons to exclude any crahes,etc
i will help with testing this solutions, at least this i can do better then develop addons:D
if you want i can describe how esy reproduce this crashes with 5+ addons using the same function

its not solution for me, - its will be good for all users who use several addons with this function
so to prevent crashes i suggest all authors add this solutions to their addons and cooperate between each other, or write extra library to handle it :)
stay tuned, will see what everyone decide
