Scroll/Slider Controls

What is the difference between these two, and can anyone give a small tutorial on their use?

My Gatherer addon uses the scroll control for its history window. You're welcome to look at that. I used the code that was in the zgoo scroll frame to figure what was needed to work.

Scroll is for scroll frames (scrollable lists, such as the keybindings window or your bag interface). The actual scroll bar at the side of the scroll frame (that shows where you are in the scroll frame) is really a slider. Sliders, though, are most commonly associated with horizontal ones in a settings GUI panel.
