I am kinda late with this response^^ Sorry about that. I think it is less the zenith but more when the sun is exactly in the south. When I went from there I had a simple sync but with an exact time. |

on #1 I just DLed the Addon very early on Thursday. I have been tring to sync it the way you suggested and i am unsure if I'm doing it right. So I really doubt that it is my syncing attempts but what do I know. lol Do I need to face South and look straight up? and wait for the sun to reach it's Zenith or is the zenith actually a little lower in the sky? |

Hi MAOofDC, thanks for reporting bugs and I am glad you like my addon So to the bugs: 1. 0:00:00 real time or lore time? The day of the lore date (fake and normal) should not change before 0 o'clock Tamriel time. I can't reproduce it changing before that. Can you tell me, if you meant lore time, about your customized syncs? 2. Oh never noticed it but you are right. The day name of the real date is completely off. Will fix it with the next update. 3. Oh... I looked at my week names and felt ashamed. The name is of course wrong, but the others do not make any sense as well... Thanks for reporting this. Will fix it with the next update. 4. The night in Tamriel is a tricky thing. Real night is only between 22:00 and 2:00 so daytime or, at least where the sun is up, is 20h. I stud before the decision, when I started writing the time algorithm, to make a fake time, where the night seconds are shorter then the day seconds to compensate for the shortened night time or to live with a short night. I decided for the second one, because Tamriel is a fictional world and a really short night maybe makes sense in this universe. Thus the best way to test the exactness of the daylength is to wait until the sun is under the south needle then sync the clock to noon. Then wait a a day or two and see if the clock says 12:00 when the sun reaches the south needle of you compass again. |
