Re: Furnishing Preview
You can try Custom Item Preview (Furniture) to preview things you currently have in your inventory, but previewing things you are not holding will not work. I have explored various ways of "hacking" around this however they have made all the core preview functions internal/inaccessible and only accept external input as bagId, slotIndex meaning you can't "fake" an entry as the internal function is checking actual inventory contents to verify if the item can be previewed. At this point I am 90% certain this cannot be worked around, unless ZOS decides to allow it again.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Update...
I installed DebugLogViewer and when I examined the logs while clicking on the checkboxes, nothing came up. There's a decent chance I did it wrong because I have no real idea what I'm doing, there were entries from other addons that popped up, so I know it was at least running right.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Update...
Short of that, the old "disable everything except the addon you are testing and enable things one at a time until it breaks" is one of the best troubleshooting methods we have. Try loading MRL by itself and it should definitely work as in the video. You can re-enable one addon at a time, doing /reloadui between each to see what makes it break. I opted not to go the saved variables route as MRL saved variables are already huge, but that isn't a terrible idea. There is also the limitation of needing to reload the UI to save them but I guess the interface could do that automatically. I think the feature to instantly save variables would explode if sent that much data. I may expand/change the export function at a later time. Meanwhile if people find that more information is needed in the current export I can easilly add it. |

Re: Re: Re: Update...
Any idea what else to check? (Funny thing, just the night before your update, I have coded a simple crude export add-on working a bit differently -- it dumps the data into saved vars. I dump a rather different bunch of fields, too, including recipe and result item codes, and whether it is known or not.) |

Re: Re: Update...
As you can see in the video the functions are behaving as expected on the current live version of the game client. Having eliminated the above potential source of incompatibility, I recommend deleting the \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\MasterRecipeList folder with the game and launcher completely closed, and manually downloading and reinstalling the latest version of MRL.
