- "Exploration" will show unknown SkyShards after completion of all delves and interesting locations of the zone.

Apparently, the game uses both torhamekhard_01 and torhamekhard_02 for inside the delve. To fix this, add these lines in SkyShardsData.lua, line 1521.
(This basically tells the addon to load the existing data for this shard for these new maps.)

lua Code:
  1. skyshardsData["summerset"]["torhamekhard_01"]=skyshardsData["summerset"]["torhamekhard_base"];
  2. skyshardsData["summerset"]["torhamekhard_02"]=skyshardsData["summerset"]["torhamekhard_base"];
Damn ... Didn't noticed that..! Thx Phantom...

Best regards
De-Chan

P.s.: If they only use xxx_01 and xxx_02 you also could add this after line 1513...
Lua Code:
  1. ["torhamekhard_02"] = {
  2.         { 0.4689, 0.7125, 1845, 16, 2, 4 },
  3. },

Or not..?

Missing skyshard location

Inside the Tor-Hame-Khard delve in Summerset, the skyshard location is missing. Using /mypos on the location gives these coordinates.
Tor-Hame-Khard: 46.89x71.25 (summerset/torhamekhard_02)

Working so far on my end.

Thanks for taking it over until Ayantir comes back. Much appreciated.

Notepad++

If you do not have Windows 10 you can use Notepad++. When it comes time to save the SkyShardsData.lua you just put that in the bar and select All Files (*.*). You do not even have to use the " " with notepad++. Notepad++ should have a Lua Source File (*.lua) selection if you cannot find the All Files for some reason. Tested the guide by desert force and it works great and I even forgot the api version. All it did was make the addon appear out of date in game which did not seem to matter at all. Everything still works without any errors.

Okay... Let me see if I am able to help you...

To update your Skyshard Addon you will only need to do one of the two following things:

1.)
  • Copy one of the whole .lua Code and insert it into the "SkyShardsData.lua" File...
  • Then save it as a lua-File by using for example the "Editor" under Win 10 (File --> Save as --> File Type: *All files* ---> enter under Filename: "SkyShardsData.lua" .... IMPORTANT ARE THOSE " " left and right of the file Name!!! --> Save --> Copy the File into the Skyshard folder in your Addon ESO folder ---> override if asked)

2.)
  • Open the SkyShardsData.lua file with the Editor under Win 10 and look for the line 62 ([1844] = true, --Clockwork City Skyshard Hunter)...
  • At the end after "Hunter" klick with your Cursor so that you'll see the | , then press ENTER to get into the next line (line 63)...
  • Copy the following Code into that line:
    Warning: Spoiler
  • Now scroll down to line 1465 and press ENTER two times...
  • Copy and Paste the following Code now:
    Warning: Spoiler
  • See that there is an empty line after the last } from the Code above... (It should be line 1525 I think...)
  • Now go to *File* --> *Save as* ...
  • Choose File Type: "All Files" and File Name: "SkyShardsData.lua" (don't Forget the " " at the beginning and the end !)...
  • Press *Save*...
  • Copy the SkyShardsData.lua File into the Addon Skyshard Folder and if asked to overwrite --> press yes...

After you have updated the .lua File following one ot the two options I mentioned above you will only need to change the API Version in the "SkyShards" text-document from:

## APIVersion: 100021 100022

to:

## APIVersion: 100022 100023

I hope that will help ...

Best regards

De-chan

P.s.: If not... Perhaps one of us could send you his/her whole/complete .lua File... But I am not sure if that is allowed regarding the Copyrights of the Addon Author etc. ...
This worked perfectly. It was the APIVersion step I had missed. After that, and using the .lua via the download link, I was able to get it up and running. Thanks for the assist!

It maintains the indentation in the original file which is shown by the text editor Notepad++.

Note: instead of "spoiler", use the # icon in the edit bar to wrap CODE tags around the selected text. That will prevent the editor from re-formatting it, which also does not need to be a formatted list. I omitted the highlighting because it does not work inside the CODE tags.

Thank-you for posting these instructions and source code. I do not understand the first alternative, as it is written, but I have experience writing and editing Lua code, so I understand the second one.
Thanks Shadow for the Information about the Tags ..!

Regarding the Code... Yes you are right... My Problem was that I had to format it myself with the Editor under Win 10 since neither WordPad++ or the Editor where able to show me the correct format ... Perhaps I should download an Editor which will show it ...

Best regards

De-chan

P.s.: But I did not change anything during posting it here... I only C & P'ed it - that was all...

You may be right. However, if I recall correctly, originally the data shown on the Skyshards: line was a configurable option. Skyshards is not on the list shown by ESC > SETTINGS > ADDONS (created by Votan's Settings Menu), probably because it is outdated, and/or since I have not allowed it to load because of the way that the data is shown.
Woah... One Minute pls ..! If you look under the *Addons* Setting created by Votan you will not find the Skyshard Addon there... As far as I am ware off the Setting created by Votan is only for all the stuff *from* Votan..! All other Addons are listed under the *normal* Addons Settings (there should be two in your Settings List and the last one should be the one for Votan, the third last for the normal Addons...
