I don't understand your assertion "but also it changes specified (in menu) tab". To what "menu" do you refer?

And yes, I have selected the channels that I want each respective tab to display, by using the context menu "Options" that displays a UI for naming a tab and choosing the channels. (Have you noticed the recent checkbox additions to that UI?)

In my experience, CTS does not change the tab for which output is displayed by the UI. For example, the UI does not display any message that I send to a guild channel, unless and until I manually left-click on the tab which I have configured for that guild. Maybe CTS is supposed to change the tab -- assuming that the current tab does not display messages from the channel that I select with the key-bind -- but it is not doing that.

Please reconsider my remarks about the necessity for the player to configure CTS to specify both the channel and the tab for each key-bind. It is necessary because many channels can be configured for each tab -- including Say, Tell (whisper), Emote, Zone, Yell, Group, NPC, and the zones specifically for English, French, and German, respectively. So, when I use the key-bind to switch to the Zone channel, and there is more than one tab which displays messages from the Zone channel, then which tab does CTS choose to display the Zone channel messages?

For what it is worth, I have observed two particular behaviors with the native Chat UI.

(1) By default, the first tab is the "Zone" tab. I have not examined whether it has configuration options. It is created when the game client is installed and it is always displayed. I don't know whether a player can delete the Zone tab while no other tab exists, or delete it after creating one or more other tabs to its right.

(2) When a player's character joins a group, not only is the channel switched to Group, but apparently the messages sent via the Group channel must (?) be displayed on the tab to the right of the first tab. When there is no tab to the right of the Zone tab, a default Group tab is created by the game client. If there is an existing second tab, and its configuration does not have the Group channel selected, then the default Group tab is inserted between the Zone tab and the second tab, to display the Group channel messages.

--- When that occurs, the tab which was previously the second tab becomes the third tab, the third tab becomes the fourth tab, the fourth tab becomes the fifth tab, etc. The ad hoc "ghost" Group tab remains until the player's character is no longer in a group, then it disappears and the other tabs (if there are any) return to their previous positions. However, when the second tab is configured with the Group channel enabled, the default Group tab is not introduced.

--- Furthermore, I have seen screenshots in which, apparently, a Group tab was added by the player to the end of a series of existing tabs. The added tab is configured with the Group channel selected, of course. Perhaps the game client will search for a tab that is configured with the Group channel selected before it resorts to inserting the default Group tab. If so, then that has been a feature of which I have been unaware, and one that I have not tried to adopt.

All things considered, I have not figured out how an addon can adapt to this situational behavior. When I began playing TESO three years ago, the Chat UI behaved as I have described. I have not verified whether it still behaves that way. However, I don't recall reading any Patch Notes about changes to it. And I am not informed as to whether there are any known bugs in the Chat UI feature.

1. This addon have menu options. Find it and there you will be able to solve many of your problems.
2. Try to talk about using ingame chat with someone personally, not in chat and not with me. I'm working only on this addon.

Chat Tab Selector does nothing with "chat fade". And it works... Try to disable add-on.

Hmm yea, when i disabled and enabled the advanced chat part earlier today, it kept the chat open all the time, but now after disabling and reenabling the addon it seems to work normal again.

Maybe you should rename the addon to something else as the whole features have nothing to do with the chat tabs....and are all already there in other addons.

Это надстройка к Бандитскому Интерфейсу. Содержит комплекс автоматизаций использующих одни и те же события. Разделять было бы крайне тупо.

Most of add-on functions are disabled by default to allow the user to make his own choice.

@Hoft, I see you also have the "skip reading books" feature, like mine. Question for you, have you ever observed any issues with duplicate book ID values or anything? I have not, but I figure it never hurts to get another confirmation on their stability.

Hi !

When i connect the server, i see this "UI Error" message :
