SkyShards
  • Adds map pins for Skyshards to the world map and compass.
  • Does not override ZOS functionality. Not in Keyboard or Gamepad mode*
*ZOS does not provide a reasonable Gamepad API, consider it unsupported

This addon requires use of the following libraries:
In-game configuration is in the SETTINGS -> Addon Settings -> SkyShards menu,
or use command /skyshards

How to manually install addon:
  1. Go to the "Elder Scrolls Online" folder in your Documents
    Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\<version>\
    (replace <version> with the client you're using - "live" or "liveeu")
  2. You should find an AddOns folder, if you don't, create one.
  3. Extract the addon from downloaded zip file to the AddOns folder
  4. Log into the game, and in the character creation screen, you'll find the Addons menu. Enable your addons from there.

- Added an Immersive mode which will permit you to automatically disable unknown SkyShard spoil based on your character accomplishment on zone
- Per default, this feature is disabled. The difficulty is sorted by the entries order, "Zone Quests" is the hardest success to achieve.

- "Zone Main Quest" will show unknown SkyShards after completion of Zone Quest Storyline.
- "Wayshrines" will show unknown SkyShards after discovering of all Wayshrines of the zone.
- "Exploration" will show unknown SkyShards after completion of all delves and interesting locations of the zone.
- "Zone Quests" will show unknown SkyShards after completion of a certain amount of quests done in zone.

Please note :
- Because there is no Main Quest in Cyrodiil, Cyro Skyshards will always be shown in this mode.
- Because Wayshrines cannot be all unlocked in Cyrodiil, Cyro Skyshards will always be shown in this mode.
- Because there is no wayshrines in Imperial City, Imperial City Skyshards will always be shown in this mode.
- Craglorn Main Quest and Zone Quest share same conditions.

problems with latest 2.1.8 patch

Hi, it doesn't work properly on latest 2.1.8 patch i.e when in a dungeon it shows several skyshards when it should only be one and in world map skyshard doesn't disappear when discovered until you leave and re enter map. Please update as this mod is essential!!!

I don't have any issue with Minimap and/or AUI and Skyshard, could you please update both addons ?
Problem described on screenshot seems to come from an old Skyshard version ..

I just wanted to let you know that when I go into dungeons I see the skyshards in the dungeon that is also outside of the dungeon and it gets a bit confusing, other then that it is a great addon

It has been like that for awhile now showing lorebooks as well as shard's i dont think/know if it can be fixed.Just do /reloadui whenever you need to (a pain i know) but not a lot you can do really.

I think the problem is minimap as this has been reported on that addon as well as lorebooks.

I'am no coder and really apprieciate all thier work just wish we had a fix

It's definitely a conflict of some sort with Fyrakin's minimap, I've since swapped over to using the minimap from AUI as it works with Skyshards and Lorebooks without this issue. Unfortunately AUI's minimap doesn't have the same functionality as Fyrakin's but it saves me reloading the UI every time I enter a dungeon.

Ayantir is right.

Do a clean reinstall of the Addons.
Meaning:
-go to your Addons folder \Elder Scrolls Online\liveeu\AddOns
-delete the folders of MiniMap, SkyShards and LoreBooks
-go to SavedVariables folder \Elder Scrolls Online\liveeu\SavedVariables
-delete the lua-files of MiniMap, SkyShards and LoreBooks
-download the latest version of the Addons
-unpack the folders inside the packages into the Addons folder
-start the game and set the Options as you want to have them

This should fix the problem. At least I didn't have any problems today.
Didn't play long though...

Note that you can still use just the minimap from AUI without issue as it doesn't have the same functionality as Fyrakin's.

It seems the most annoying bug is tracked down (see below). Maybe you two developers can talk with each other to settle it once and for all?

I continued to get the duplicates and have never installed Master Merchant. I've disabled MiniMap and gone to AUI with no problems so far.
I'll play a bit with Minimap, even if my computer don't like it, and check if I can reproduce problem too. Does the duplicate stuff comes only from skyshard/lorebook addons or destinations pins are affected aswell ?
I'm only seeing duplicate sky shards (usually on the main maps in smaller scale areas in delves and towns and appear to be the ful region shards copied onto the smaller map) as well as duplicate books. On the full region map the text when you mouse over the shard is multiplied too. This image from sky shards forum shows what I see as an example


UPDATE 01/11: Well I've now seen the region Skyshards appear on a town/dungeon map (after pressing 'M') with the map from AUI enabled (MiniMap disabled) so it 'appears' as if whatever is causing this to replicate it Very puzzled!
I think I know what is causing it and its not MiniMap . There is a call later in Skyshards code for callback and when map changes in between this it makes skyshards pop on a wrong place. So, technically there is nothing I can do on MiniMap side.

As I said previously, 2 skyshards are missing in this update
If you found them, please use command /myloc

And then make a screen or copy the coordinates
Please type the command while standing on the skyshard if possible

That was a misunderstanding. If you read what I posted you may find that there is some kind of interfering bug between your Skyshards addon and Fyrakins Minimap. I do not really understand what it is about, but I think you can just solve this together.

Please can you clarify this? I ran around the entire spider area and died multiple times and still couldn't find it.

Eastern area of which map? Could you maybe post a photo of the map with the skyshard highlighted?

I am so frustrated with this last skyshard.
