Tamriel Trade Centre  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 3.13.827.1381
by: cyxui [More]
The addon for http://tamrieltradecentre.com/

TTC needs localization help! Current plans is to translate for all official languages (German, French and Japanese). If you are willing to help with the translation please go to google sheet (https://goo.gl/q6xBPq) and fill in the German/French/Japanese Translation Columns as much as you could. Do remember to make a copy in case of conflicts or trolls.. cough cough...

By downloading this addon you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

For Mac users and people whos afraid of exe file. Webclient (beta) is available online. Go to http://tamrieltradecentre.com/ and select your region. Click on Addon -> Webclient and follow the instructions

Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction 

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

For first time of use 

For the first time only, you need to go to bank NPC -> click on Guild Store. A dialog box should pop up asking you to wait while the addon scan existing guild listings. When finished, the "Auto scan completed" dialog will show up
.

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between MM's price and TTC's price?
TTC uses the listing price and the MM uses sold price. By statistic and Economic, those two numbers should align given enough sample set

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

Will be hard. English text wont get loaded if you are using German client. Additional string id would be needed and it would be messy.

The ESO addon API does not provide any way for addons to communicate directly with programs outside of the game client. Furthermore we are only able to see data from the game client from external applications by looking at changes made to an addon's saved variables file, which is only updated when you relog or do a /reloadui.

Yes, I am aware that a TESO add-on cannot communicate with an external program and vice-versa. Please re-read what you quoted above, which clearly pertains to communication between the TTC website and the TTC upload client, not the TTC add-on.

The TTC upload client no longer displays a log-in dialog. So the question is whether a complete search of all pages in a Guild Store will be collected by the add-on and written to its Saved Variable folder, for the TTC upload client to read and transmit to the TTC server. Is a log-in no longer required to do that?
You only need login for your own listings. If you are doing guild store scans then no login is required. You would need to enable "Upload my own listings" option in client settings and restart the client to see the login box.

Login information is stored in IE cookie store and it will be reused.

Ah, I see now. I guess I just wasn't clear on what you were wanting to do. I have never experienced the problem of the TTC client not giving a login prompt, unless I have manually deleted cookies. But if not it just uses the existing cookie and auto-logs me in.

So you are basically asking if the cookie from logging into the website can be used to auto-login to the client when launched? Probably will be some issues with detecting which browser you used to log into the website. But this seems like a complicated workaround for the REAL issue which is, why are you not able to log in through the client itself?

It sounds like that is what really needs to be solved. Sorry if I read you wrong.

In Windows at least, remembering you login is tied to your Internet Settings which you can access from the control panel or through Internet Explorer. Open Internet Options, go to the Content tab, click Settings, and make sure User names and passwords on forms is checked (and optionally ask when saving passwords below).

If you are using a "cleanup" program like CCleaner to clear out old temp and junk files on your computer, it will delete these saved passwords unless you go into the settings of those programs (again under Internet Explorer section) and tell it not to.
It's not auto-complete, I'm not going to enable that - never have and never will.

I do have CCleaner run on startup though, and so I've unchecked "Cookies" in IE and Edge. That sounds like the likely cause. Thanks.

no. the client is not open sourced yet. in order for you to be able to build it I need to strip out all the hard coded folder dependencies as well as all the integration scripts. This is not my top priority

It might seem logical to assume that if you are logged into the TTC website you should be able to just use an addon in-game to search there, heck some games like Secret World actually have their own in-game web browser, but those commands are simply not available in ESO. It does make up for it by having a lot of other cool things you can do with addons that these other games don't support, so it's a tradeoff.

I agree it would be cool if they added some way to communicate with external applications in realtime, or between players to allow more complex data sharing addons (on an opt-in basis of course). Perhaps one day they will.

When this happened in the past, I overcame it by manually searching a Guild Store while using the "All" category. The add-on captured the data and the TTC client uploaded it to the server. As usual, after I searched each store, I used /reloadui to allow the TTC client to access the data captured by the add-on.

However, when I performed those tedious, time-consuming searches yesterday, the add-on apparently did not capture the data, and no results from the searches were uploaded to the TTC server. I have examined the TTC add-on configuration, and did not find anything that would cause this to happen. As far as I could determine, it did capture the results of other, category-specific searches, both before and afterward, for all of the Guild Stores that I searched (including via Guild Traders). So, what was the problem?

By the way, I always log-in to the TTC website before I run the TTC game client, then log-in to play the game. Recently the game client would query for my log-in credentials (either Windows or some other source reported some "script errors" but I dismissed them). Last week, the TTC client stopped showing a log-in dialg (because it was not secure -?-). Regardless, previously the log-in credentials were stored in the Sandboxie sandbox in which I run the TTC client, until the contents of its sandbox are deleted prior to a pending weekly system backup of all of the files on my computer system. So I expect to log-in again the next time that I run the TTC client afterward. No objection on my part.

Sorry for all the pain you have to go thru. But its kinda unfortunate that TTC won't be able to know more than what ESO client knows. If ESO client thinks that your guild doesn't own a trader it will tell the same to TTC.

But! you can walk to the actual trader NPC and scan all will work there.

As for the last part. In order for you to be able to do search in game everyone would need to download 10GB+ of data every couple hours. AND the minimum requirement would be 16GB + ram which is not feasible ...

Well known ZOS bug. The game client thinks your guild doesn't own a trader and its telling TTC the same. Walk to the actual trader and you should be able to scan .

Nothing is posting

Hi,

For awhile now I've noticed that the client isn't posting anything that I've scanned. In game when I try to use the "scan all" function, it tells me my trade guilds don't have a kiosk even though they very much do.

Any insight? I'd really like to get this working again. The client log isn't throwing errors, and it will periodically tell me that I have the latest pricing table, but that's all it does.
