New original icons for all current in-game styles. All original icons completely remade from scratch. -Phinix

NOTE: If you encounter an item with a Monster Set icon that isn't actually from a monster set (or a Monster Set item with a different style icon), paste the following command in chat and before hitting enter click your cursor between the quotes and right-click the item, select "Link in Chat," then hit enter and comment here with the ID it gives you and the name of the item so I can add it to a bypass table. I will include new icons as soon as I know what styles or sets I may have missed that are actually in the game:

Many thanks to ingeniousclown to allow me to use Research Assistant framework for this addon.

Thanks to Bl4ckSh33p for German localization.

NOTE: Starting with ver 0.5.0, addon settings are account wide. You will loose your settings when upgrade!

This mod adds two icons to the list view of inventory. One to show racial motif(race icon) for the items and second to show armor type(heavy/medium/light). Icons color match the item quality.

Features:
  • Multilanguage support
  • Toggle on/off which icons you want to be displayed.
  • Two types of indicators for Armor Type, icon or letter. Configurable from settings.
  • Toggle on/off quality color for icons.
  • Customizable icon size.
  • Customizable position(relative to item name).
  • Different themes for motifs/armor type icons.
  • Compatible with Inventory Grid View and Research Assistant addons by ingeniousclown. You need grid mode off to see the icons!

FAQ
  • Is your addon compatible with XXX addons?
    Is more yes, than no. I have most of popular addons installed and i found no compatibility problem.
  • It seems that your addon is not compatible with XXX addon
    Please submit a bug report and indicate which addon cause compatibility problem.
  • What textures do you use for racial and armor icons?
    I created custom textures from images found in internet and edited in Paint.Net
    For armors: From DA2
    For motifs: Similar to ones in character creation menu. For additional four motifs, from Skyrim.
  • I don't like the icons you use
    Send me a full set of textures(14 motifs, 6 armor, 1 for unknown) and i will gladly add them as separate theme. Here can be found how to create dds files.
  • I have a question not include here

I do yea. It's weird because I had disabled MM and all other inventory-modifying addons, it only worked when I disabled this addon. Probably just some form of pebkac. Thanks

Do you use Master Merchant? It currently has a problem with writ containers generating errors, though not this one specifically. I can't replicate a problem with this addon and all of the hooks it uses are "safe" meaning they are pre-hooks that use the built-in ZO_PreHook() method.

When I have this addon enabled, I can't open containers in my inventory (writ bags, etc). No error, just won't open. The only thing I have in my log is this.

Give the new version a try when it finishes uploading. It seems that the dropdown menu control is a tad sensitive to list changes. I reset the saved variables which should avoid the problem.

There is a new option in addon settings which is blank after update - Icons Theme. Just select one from drop-down and error will go off.

Last Update makes it impossible to load the inventory for me in german client.
I have to rollback and hope for a fix with the next Update...

1.0.3 working fine
1.0.3a bugs the inventory and the ESC-Menü ^^

I agree and I have returned the armor type letter option to only showing a letter. I also improved the armor type icons so they are easier to distinguish from each other.

I love this addon and have been using it since you first came out with it. But with the new version 1.0.2d you changed the background and letter font for the armor type from a plain letter like L, M, and H. It is very difficult to tell which is which now. Is was much easier before with just the plain letter font. If I had a choice I'd just remove the background and leave the new letter font.

@Rhyono thanks for the ID's, those were the remaining two I didn't have yet.

I have now manually hand re-crafted every single icon this addon uses from scratch to meet the standards of the higher quality icons I included for newly added motifs.

All original styles, race and faction icons, as well as the armor type indicator icons have ALL been remade.
