PLEASE HELP! I've still been dealing with my 28 year old brother passing and now my father is in the hospital with a major stroke that has paralyzed his entire left side. My disability was reduced to $629 recently, and trying to make it between home and where he is (about 100 miles one-way) is tough. I need to be with him though. If there is anything you can do to help it would mean a lot. (6-19-24) |

Error on PTS
Currently causes an error on PTS (3.3.0). It occurs when you browse the items of the new vendor near Rolis Hlaalu, Faustina Curio. It can't be recovered from and requires a ReloadUI to fix.

I had to stop TESO for a while because of tendinitis on my wrist. I try to get back to the game by playing with a gamepad because the position suits me.
The problem is that it is difficult to find compatible addons. Is there a way to run Master Recipe in gamepad mode?

Not sure why, but suddenly there are no longer marks next to unknown recipes in my inventory, guild bank or store? Checked the settings and it's all turned on!

Those check marks started off as being only for recipes you had on your tracking list, so the check made more sense then, as it was affirming it was indeed being tracked.
If I have time I will look into adding an option at some point to change the various inventory icons. What would be appropriate do you think? Probably I will just let people use the star icon instead like what shows when you enable Inventory Grid View. |

Could you change the inventory icons for known and unknown recipes?
I think a checkmark for unknown recipe doesn't make much sense |

Furniture previews!
Version 1.54.5:
- NEW: Can now right-click items on the furniture list to see a 3D preview! NOTE: There are some items that will not show a preview due to current API limitations. Hopefully Zenimax won't fail us and adds complete link preview options soon, but in the meantime you can use Item Preview by Shinni to search those items that don't work at a guild store and preview them from there (from either the recipe or created item results). Also: - Main window can now be moved partially off screen, making it easier to see only things you are concerned about. - Can type "/mrl reposition" (no quotes) to reset the main window to the default position if you accidentally drag it into oblivion.

@Sorondor
EDIT: Turns out this was a typo and I was using the total cooking recipe count to build the initial saved variable structure for the total furniture recipe structure as well instead of its own, which was causing lookup functions to that table to break after 562 (total cooking recipes) which just happened to be where furniture clothing quality 5 starts. Problem should be fixed in 1.52.3, tyvm for the report! The fix should also resolve issue #2 but please let me know if there are further problems.

I'm experiencing 2 issues at the moment. I have reproduced these with only MRL 1.54.2 loaded (no other addons at all in the AddOns folder), a completely fresh SavedVariables folder (including deleting ZO_Ingame.lua), and only a single character's data saved in the MRL database. I've tried reloading the UI and reloading the client. The problems persist.
Let me know if you need any additional info or a copy of the MRL saved variables. Thanks. Issue 1: When pressing the Clothing Pattern/Gold button (and others, see below), I receive the following error: Code:
user:/AddOns/MasterRecipeList/MasterRecipeList.lua:2640: operator .. is not supported for nil .. string stack traceback: user:/AddOns/MasterRecipeList/MasterRecipeList.lua:2640: in function 'NavigateScrollList' user:/AddOns/MasterRecipeList/MasterRecipeList.lua:4324: in function 'ESOMRL.XMLNavigation' ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameClothingButton5_Clicked:3: in function '(main chunk)' Code:
Enchanting Praxis/Purple: ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameEnchantButton4_Clicked Enchanting Praxis/Gold: ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameEnchantButton5_Clicked Provisioning Design/Blue: ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameProvisioningButton3_Clicked Provisioning Design/Purple: ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameProvisioningButton4_Clicked Provisioning Design/Gold: ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameProvisioningButton5_Clicked Woodworking Blueprint/Purple: ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameWoodworkingButton4_Clicked Woodworking Blueprint/Gold: ESOMRL_MainFrameFurnitureFrameWoodworkingButton5_Clicked Issue 2: MRL displays the gold known star icon next to many Furniture recipes I don't know. This display problem doesn't extend to the Food/Drink recipes. For example, under Enchanting/Green I know all recipes except for Clockwork Measuring Cup, Sintered but it has the yellow known star next to it as if I did know it. Another example: Clothing/Purple displays known/unknown stars correctly up to and including Khajiit Divider, Folding. Yellow known stars are next to all purple recipes below Khajiit Divider, Folding, but I actually only know 4 of them. |

Thanks Dolgubon! After staring at code for long enough the obvious starts to escape scrutiny. I guess I was thinking because I had the whole thing evaluated against nil that it would implicitly evaluate OK, but while LUA syntax is pretty flexible, I see now it isn't THAT flexible.
Anyway those errors should be gone for good now. I also improved the way the scroll lists are updated when you click a recipe. Now if you are scrolled way down on a list and toggle a recipe's tracking status, it will no longer pop you back up to the top of the list, which was very annoying.

The modifyTitle function in the setupFormat.lua under the bin folder causes a lua error.
The line which does so is pChars[dName][uName] ~= nil) and pChars[dName][uName] or oTitle While pChars has a value for @Phinix_ESO, it does not have values for any other display names. return (pChars[dName] and pChars[dName][uName] ) or oTitle should work instead. |
