PLEASE HELP! I've still been dealing with my 28 year old brother passing and now my father is in the hospital with a major stroke that has paralyzed his entire left side. My disability was reduced to $629 recently, and trying to make it between home and where he is (about 100 miles one-way) is tough. I need to be with him though. If there is anything you can do to help it would mean a lot. (6-19-24) |

another suggestion
not a chat icon - but a main menu icon http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info989-LibMainMenu.html will be nice and more easy |

When I added an icon for Chat Window Manager I really liked how the artwork came out (simple icon I know, but it fit with the design well), but more important at the time it was the only extra icon in the chat window, at least on my system. When experimenting with adding more icons things rapidly become too crowded. I was also only able to add it to the chat frame when expanded as adding it to the minimized window causes the bottom of the frame to bump down too far and off the screen. Also, the problem is compatibility with other addons that add icons is near impossible, as the docking is NOT dynamic, meaning if one addon docks their icon to the agent position, any others that do the same will overlap. I can maybe add a floating button that can be unlocked in settings and moved wherever you want, then locked. That would be the most elegant solution available at this point I believe.

Re: C 1 error
Is it possible you were trying the addon for the first time during peak hours and this is the error you received? If so, it may just be a coincidence, as repeatedly logging in WILL eventually let you in. If not, what I suggest is taking one of your characters out into the wilderness somewhere and then exiting the game and installing this addon. Then log back into that character and see if it gives you any errors. If possible a little more information would also be helpful. Is this a popup LUA message that appears in-game, or is it kicking you back to login? When does it occur? When you are first logging in, once you have logged in and can see your character, or randomly in-game? A screenshot of the error would also be helpful. |

Fixed, thanks for the reports!
This problem was caused by moving your mouse over one of the white quality "junk" food items you loot from cabinets and such, or having one of these in your bags. To lookup which tooltip to populate I am checking a local table for the item ID if it is a certain type, which was fine for recipes since my recipe table has every recipe ID in the game. However, for food tooltips (and the tracking check mark in the inventory), I do not have all of these junk items in my food item table, only craftable items, so running my check on one of THESE item ID's resulted in a nil value (nothing to return), which was then being checked later in the function, which was complaining about it being nil. |

Error with 1.25
I just installed MRL 1.25 but I'm getting an error when mousing over a looted beverage:
user:/AddOns/MasterRecipeList/MasterRecipeList.lua:535: attempt to index a nil value stack traceback: user:/AddOns/MasterRecipeList/MasterRecipeList.lua:535: in function 'AddRecipeTooltipLine' user:/AddOns/MasterRecipeList/MasterRecipeList.lua:645: in function 'SetBagItem' EsoUI/Ingame/Inventory/InventorySlot.lua:1704: in function '(anonymous)' EsoUI/Ingame/Utility/ZO_SlotUtil.lua:14: in function 'RunHandlers' EsoUI/Ingame/Inventory/InventorySlot.lua:2062: in function 'ZO_InventorySlot_OnMouseEnter' 7524690221276444389:3: in function '(main chunk)' When I mouse over an ingredient I don't get any tool tips (what it is used in). However, the tool tips on the Recipes themselves do work, I can see what is needed and who knows it. The check also shows up in the inventory window. I have disabled all other mods and still have the issue.

Re: Bug error
I have fixed this in version 1.25, which I will be uploading this morning. My global name space table is now called "ESOMasterRecipeList" which I think you will agree, is much less likely to conflict. I have also tested it with all the addons referenced above, and do not experience any errors at guild stores or elsewhere. Conflicts resolved. I have also added features to set to tracking all recipes in a category by shift-clicking the category, a button to set ALL recipes to track, and the ability to set to track all recipes not known by a selected character. This makes it very easy to set up filters, which comes in handy as I have also included a feature for recipes much like I already had for ingredients to automatically set to junk or delete (based on settings) any recipes you are not currently tracking. So for example, if you wanted to set the addon to automatically delete any recipe you loot of green quality that you do not already know, it can be easily set up to do so in just a couple clicks.
