Tired of not seeing certain effects in raids? Having trouble looking at the boss to see if he's about to do a mechanic? Or are you just lazy and want something to do most of the work for you? Then this is the addon you seek! Never be caught offguard so you can put your focus on things that are more important.

Description
Originally created by Silentgecko this addon started out with a few alerts but has since grown to huge proportion. Ranging for alerts that let you know there's a certain effect on you to alerts that warn you about an incoming hit. It's almost as if you can see into the future! Now of course there are still things you will need to look out for yourself but hopefully Raid Notifier will ease some of the burden.

If you are interested on the timing of certain bosses and their abilities I highly recommened Halls of Fabrication Veteran Status Panel and Asylum Sanctorium Status Panel by code65536.


Ultimate Exchange
Requires LibGroupSocket to be installed separately!
This feature is still considered beta and if you are experiencing problems with it you can disable it to prevent issues or conflicts with other addons with a similar feature.

Through the use of sirinsidiator's awesome LibGroupSocket (see the page for more details) it is now possible to share your ultimate with the rest of your raid. When this feature is enabled in the settings menu it will turn on sending your ultimate values during trials only.

For now it displays people's ultimate as a percentage based on their warhorn cost but I plan to add support for other (relevant) ultimates. It does however, work with any ultimate cost reduction passive and/or sets and it doesn't matter if the person actually has warhorn slotted or not!

As a user/receiver you can configure to only show it for certain roles, like tanks and healers and have the option to colorize the text once it reaches certain thresholds (80% and 100%). The window can be dragged around and can be hidden for the user while still allowing that person to share his ultimate. More customization will come in the future.

Warning: Due to how it is currently written it will cause issues with other addons that use map pings to communicate (even the ones that also use LibGroupSocket) and will make it likely that you are kicked from the game due to hitting the message spam limit. From personal experience, when only using Raid Notifier's sharing feature I have never been kicked due to spamming.


Basics

Besides the ever-growing amount of warnings and alerts the addon also provides some other benefits during the raids. Things like disabling assistants at the start of combat or disabling vanity pets for the duration of the trial. It also features a simple but effective food buff tracker


Alerts
Each alert can have its own sound and many of them can be configured to display it for everybody and not just for you. You can see a full description for each alert in the settings menu. Of course each and every alert can be disabled.

Btw it's not working that well unfortunately, some initialization error pops up. Looks like some sort of incorrect order of loading the addons, but I'm not sure.
When I'll have time, I'll investigate the reasons and will be able to fix them.

Hi,

I cannot say if that changes break any other addon, as I cannot see a list of addons uisng libA or libB
But IF they also use the "current" (As I said it's available sicne Summerst DLC, so a few years already ) way to add libraies, it should work fine.

Only thing I could think about is if any other addon is using LibCSA, and would fail to load without LibStub.
But adopting these addons to not use LibStub("LibCSA") and use LibCSA directly should be very simple, to be fair.

We could try to create a version of RaidNotifier without LibStub, and inclding an updated LibCSA, and see if someone complains?
If so we could always go back to this older version (just increase the version number and use totally old code).

I'm not sure about CustomTitles. I know there was a version working without LibStub somewhere but the one at esoui.com is evn without the txt file so one could leave it as it is...
I dislike this as there would be ways to fix that and remove LibStub, but I do not want to start a fight over that (again) with Dolgubon

I'll have a look and prepare a version of RaidNotifier where all LibStub usages get changed to global library names, where possible, and inclding a LibCSA version with proper txt and w/o LibStub usage.

LibCSA got an own txt now, txt of RaidNotifier was updated, and code lines in RaidNotifier using LibStub were removed (except for CustomTitles -> That is still included with LibStub...).

This library is outdated since Summerset DLC and should not be used anymore!

Removal of LibStub
LibGroupSocket, LibAddonMenu2 all got global library variables which you could AND MUST use instead please.
And if LibCSA does not provide that, please add it. Should be very simple to add a LibCSA global for that to point to local lib, and provide a proper LibCSA.txt file for that inclduing the ## AddOnVersion: and ## IsLibrary: True tag properly so that can be used as a library.

Hey!

Please ensure that you have turned off everything under the "Debug" section. It's not enabled by default, and it shouldn't be enabled unless you wanna debug the addon and have some experience in that

If that won't help or you don't have this settings enabled, I'd like to ask you to provide some additional data like screenshots which contains that spam messages you mentioned.

I've been having an issue where an addon has been filling my chat window with lots of system messages. In the course of slowly turning on the addons 1 at a time and when I got to RaidNotifier, my chat started filling up again. I don't know what's going on, but something is going wrong and making my chat window blow up so I can't communicate with other players.

That's a proper fix. The GetAbilityCost() function prototype in the latest ESOUI source (eso-api_game.lua line 14333) looks

Foodbuff fix

As quickfix you can change the code at the line 534 in the RaidNotifier.lua as following:

(search for a word "channeled", it'll be one of two matches)

I need to check API changelog to be sure it's proper fix ('cause just removing things is not always a proper solution), but it's a candidate.
I'll try to provide full fix soon.
