eso minion newbie. need help

Hi, ive been playing eso for about two weeks and heard about minion and addons so i downloaded today. i installed aui, lorebooks and skyshards. i went into eso and it says that they are all out of date so i clicked on allow out of date addons but they werent working in-game. i went back to minion and clicked update all, nothing seemed to happen so i went back into the game and they were still showing as out of date and not working. is there an easy fix for this?
