Inspired by Wykkyd toolbar, Bar Steward provides 140+ widgets (and counting) that can be placed across multiple bars, aligned either horizontally or vertically. Some of the widgets provide additional information when hovered over. Others can open UI elements when clicked. Some widgets can also provide an audible alert and an on-screen message.

Widgets can be created as text only, icon only or both.

There are also keybinds to toggle hiding/showing of specific bars and a widget creator to create widget for porting to your houses (compatible with Port To Friend's House), also with keybinds.

I'm not sure which number you are referring to, but to remove a specific bar look for the [Bars] section, then delete the relevant bar entry, but note its number. The go to the [Controls] section (widgets), look for any that have Bar= *your deleted bar number* and replace it with Bar = 0

What should I do to get rid of these two bars so I can start it again? Thanks.
Hi,
first off - this functionality was only ever intended to allow for sharing of occasional bars - it may be that I need to revisit this functionality if people are using it for other purposes (which they clearly are )

I'd suggest going into your saved variables file, look for the relevant character name and delete the entries for the character. If you're not comfortable doing this, feel free to PM with your saved variables file and details of what you would like and I'll be happy to adjust it for you.

Yeah the importing is a great thing! I have maybe 7 different bars (I don't like the one long bar, and look at various areas of my screen for info.) I have my NA account, and EU. I imported each of the ones into EU fine, and not sure how I did it so well! It's perfect. Then I have a free Epic Account, and want to make it look the same. That's where it blew up for me; I'm not sure what I did wrong or different from the other time.

They are basically copies of ZOS own progress bars - I have tried messing with the vertical size to no avail so far. As for them disappearing, that will generally only happen when you've made changes somewhere and haven't yet reloaded - a hang over from v1 I've not yet figured out I'm afraid.[/quote]

Put them on a strict diet!
There's also a weird glitch that sometimes happens after I move the bars around, making solid white bands across the screen. These can disappear on a reload or by switching windows around. Not sure what causes it.

The updates to the homestead are pure gold! Thank you!

Should be sorted in v2.1.5. The food buff was looking for the 'danger' value when it should have been using the 'warning' value.

That would be quite a lot of work as it involves modifying many widgets and I'm not sure the effort is worth the gain.

Not sure on the best way to handle this without the widget being either too big or too cluttered. I've added a 'Researching' widget as an experiment to show what I have in mind at the moment, and to get some feedback on if I'm heading in the right direction.

Some things I have noticed still:
- automatic hide is not working for the XP & AP buff

- a show percentage option for the endless archive progress, to show the stages (⚬1⬦2▿3) when disabled
(I know it's shown in the default UI, but I've replaced that and would prefere it in the bar instead)
- [luxury issue] option to throw an alert only on critical threshold (/alert options in generell)
- a combined crafting progress widget that shows the highest/lowest research time and the overall slots
(Using the research slots simultaneously, I'd prefere to have just one entry. Details could be shown on mouseover)

Let me clarify. When you click "reorder widgets" and then whatever bar you made for homesteads, their names will show up double-printed in the list, making it hard to read. A very minor error, but still.

It should be automatic, the coded limit is 20. I'll try look into this over the weekend if I get time.

[EDIT] The function I wrote to assign a key bind id was wrong. It was basically resulting in the same id being assigned to multiple key binds, so they just kept overwriting each other. I've got a fix ready for the next release. I've also removed the requirement to have the widget on a bar for the binding to be available, and I've added a sort order to the houses in the settings.

Ah, using it now! That solves it for me, although when you have time, the progress bars seem glitchy and fat, sometimes disappearing until a reload.

Hello! Two things: when reordering widgets, the homesteads have very long names that clutter up the screen. If possible, they could be shortened for clarity.

Also, I still can't get the Addon Keybinds to show more than 5 homesteads. Any more houses added after that will not show up in the list, so I can't hotkey them. Is there something I have to do to make them appear there, or should it be automatic?

The fonts are a bit harder to read now with the update, but I guess you're already on that issue, if it can be improved. Thanks again for the best ESO addon out there!

Edit: A third thing, I love the progress bars for endeavors, but they are much too fat and intrusive. Could they be made thinner? Or even replaced with a numbers only option, e.g. "9/40"

I'm not able to replicate this - it works fine for me. Are you sure your checking the 'override settings' box? If you want to change all bars to the same box, I'd recommend using the global setting at the very top of the settings screen.

Done in v2.1.3

The infinite archive widgets 'autohide' has also now been renamed and the code fixed for autohiding the score.

You already have that option for the crafting widgets. Just enable the 'Show Crafting Slots' options - or have I misunderstood?

Those options are already there but I do see a couple of problems with them. They are currently labelled "Autohide" with an incorrect tooltip. Also the score hiding is not working correctly, so I'll look into that too.
