Inspired by Wykkyd toolbar, Bar Steward provides 136+ widgets (and counting) that can be placed across multiple bars, aligned either horizontally or vertically. Some of the widgets provide additional information when hovered over. Others can open UI elements when clicked. Some widgets can also provide an audible alert and an on-screen message.

There are also keybinds to toggle hiding/showing of specific bars and a widget creator to create widget for porting to your houses (compatible with Port To Friend's House), also with keybinds.

It would help if I hadn't completely misunderstood what you were saying and then gave you duff info

Release v1.4.40 will correct this issue. I've added an extra option so you can choose between displaying the main bar, the back bar, both bars, or, crucially, the active bar. I believe what you want in this instance is Active Bar.

I don't suppose it would be possible to use the icon of the equipped poison? Or at least a different icon to differentiate them. One red one green for example.

I intentionally left a minimum value in there so I don't have to check multiple objects to work out the height - I will have a look at though as it's a valid point.

Nope - too much of a nightmare I'm afraid, I'm leaving it well alone.

Not something I've been able to reproduce - if you could PM me your saved vars for the bar in question I'll look into it.

Custom UI scaling at the game level should already be handled. My UI settings are all in max but I'm using 2k monitors so I don't change the in-game scaling.

Thanks for adding my suggestions so quickly.

Just a couple of things:

1) Negative values for padding (at least with vertical padding) would help with moving rows closer together since they don't dynamically shift after resizing icons/text below the default values.

2) When I turn on the override in a custom bar, the text vanishes after reload. Icons are still present.

If it's too much of a pain, I understand, but I'm very grateful for your attempts either way.

EDIT:
I just thought of something. I am using custom scaling in the main game settings because I'm using a 4K display. Here's a pastebin of my UserSettings.txt for help in testing.

Depending on your hardware you may have to adjust quality settings as I have them set rather high, but the in game custom scaling could account for my original vertical padding issues.

What an awesome addon - I have many addons and this has to be one of my favorites!! Thank you! *

Out of curiosity, is it possible to configure a bar to only show in specific instances, such as "in inventory" or "in mail" and so on? (sort of as an opposite of the "Show Everywhere"). I am imagining a supplement to the inventory window that shows horse timer, etc...

I have a feeling this one is going to come back and haunt me - I've implemented this but there are a few caveats.

1) Bar Steward was not designed for this behaviour, so some of it has been done in a round about sort of way. It may be not exactly what you had in mind
2) Widget resizing and ensuring the contents fits correctly is a nightmare. If there is any negative impact that does not have an easy fix, I will simply remove the offending feature as it's too much of a PITA to sort out

To clarify, for me it only registers the front bar poison, not the back bar, regardless of what type of weapon is equipped.
Ah well, the back bar is a different story then If you switch to your back bar the widget should update to reflect the correct poison count as it only shows the *active* bar.

I can add an option to show the combined back bar and front bar poisons if you think that's useful, or back bar only maybe?
Not sure why, but it still won't show the backbar for me, just the front bar. :/

I have a feeling this one is going to come back and haunt me - I've implemented this but there are a few caveats.

1) Bar Steward was not designed for this behaviour, so some of it has been done in a round about sort of way. It may be not exactly what you had in mind
2) Widget resizing and ensuring the contents fits correctly is a nightmare. If there is any negative impact that does not have an easy fix, I will simply remove the offending feature as it's too much of a PITA to sort out
3) If something doesn't work the way you had in mind, please point it out, but be prepared for a possible "sorry, that's the best I can do"

A few suggestions...

I love the addon so far, but I have a few suggestions that could greatly improve usability and customization. I'm not sure if these have been suggested before, but here we go:

1) Text and Icon sizing per bar, not global.
2) Padding for bar rows/columns. Example:

Currently my settings to make this bar look the way I want, I need to have Text size 20, Icon size 20, and bar scaling at 0.6 which looks like this:


What I want is Text size 12, Icon size 12, and bar scaling at 1, which looks like this:


With my first two suggestions, I could accomplish what I want for each individual bar, as I don't want all of the bars that I have in mind to look like this one.

3) Options for Backdrop styles similar to Votans Minimap border styles.
