PersonalAssistant (Banking, Junk, Loot, Repair)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.4.11
by: Klingo, NTak

PersonalAssistant V2

There are already many addons out there that support Auto-Repair or Auto-Gold-Deposit functionalities, but none of them had the features I'd like to have seen. Because of that, PersonalAssistant was born.

After a two year long break from ESO, I finally managed to complete the major refactoring that started back in 2017. But not only that, I also added many more features that I could not even have thought of back then. I hope you will have as much fun using this addon, like I had working on it!

PA General
  • Up to eight different account-wide profiles that can be renamed
  • Shortcut to travel to your home (if available)

PA Banking
  • Currencies (gold, alliance points, ...) can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Crafting materials can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank (if you are not ESO Plus Subscriber)
  • Create your own custom rules and decide how many of each item to keep in bank or inventory
  • Other selected items such as motives, recipes, writs, glyphs, trophies etc. can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Select if items with [Intricate] trait should be transferred from/to the bank
  • Define a specific amount of lockpicks, repair kits or soul gems to always keep in inventory or the bank
  • Be always ready for Cyrodiil and define how many AvA items to keep in inventory

PA Integration
  • Limited support for FCO ItemSaver regarding "Marked for selling" and "Locked" marks

PA Junk
  • Trash items can be marked as junk
  • Items with the "sell to merchant" information can be marked as junk
  • Treasures (such as the ones found when stealing) can be marked as junk
  • Items with [Ornate] trait can be marked as junk
  • Weapons, Armor, Jewelries, or Glyphs below a certain quality level can be marked as junk (quality threshold can be defined)
  • Junk can be sold at merchants and fences
  • Save time and use keybinding shortcuts to mark items as junk or directly destroy them
  • Mark any item as permanent junk so you never have to deal with it again
  • Items with no sell value can also be destroyed instead of marked as junk

PA Loot
  • Informs you when an unknown recipe is looted
  • Informs you when an unknown motif/page is looted
  • Informs you when an item with a not yet researched trait is looted
  • Informs you when you are running out of inventory space (threshold can be defined)
  • Visually indicates if a recipe, motif, trait, or style page is known (or not) to the current character

PA Repair
  • Repairs your items for you when you visit a merchant (threshold can be defined)
  • Repairs your items out on the field when you have (non-crown) repair kits available (threshold can be defined)
  • Recharges your weapons when they run out of charges and you have filled soul gems available
  • Informs you when you are running out of soul gems, or repair kits (thresholds can be defined)

You can find the addon settings if you press the Escape key when you are ingame and then open the "Settings" menu.
There you should find the PersonalAssistant entry (amongst other addons you might have installed and also provide this kind of settings).

Hope this helps?

So when i looked it was not there so i deleted the file, downloaded it again, and poof there it was there. Just a side note before your response i never even looked there. Lol however it would seem the first file was messed up anyway so, yeah... Thanks for the help i never would have known there was a problem with out it!

Delay in item deposit

When depositing more stuff at once, game kicks me out with error to send to zenimax, or in case of fewer items, it says "FAILURE: [item] could NOT be moved to bank" and i must close bank, then open for autodeposit rest of items. I think this could be solved by similar method like gold depositing in steps/min interval.

Someone mentioned there stacking at bank. It would be very nice, but i will suggest a one step further - not just stack it to max, but to certain number.
For ex.: I want to keep 75 items in stack in bank
Char 1 deconstruct, and deposit items to full stack or over
Char 2 auto withdraw 25 items (and everything from second stack if possible) from stack to keep 75 items in bank for char 1 to deconstruct and deposit again

Btw great work with this addon

Mh, this is strange. I tested it several times when I was depositing 60+ items in one turn and I never experienced a kick from the game.

The "FAILURE: [item] could NOT be moved to bank" is displayed in the following case:
An item that is not yet in the bank, or causes to create a new stack in the bank, shall be deposited. The addon calls the corresponding API and 2 seconds later checks if the item really has been moved. If not, this message is displayed. So somehow, as far as I can see, the ESO API does not like to automatically deposit too many fresh items in a short amount of time.
I added a new slider in v1.4.1 in the ItemType-Submenu where you can increase this intervall from 200ms up to 1000ms (default: 300ms). This might help slightly, but I guess it won't resolve the problem :-/

Regarding your request, I'm not fully sure if I understand this...
You want to define a minimum amount that always shall remain on the bank and cannot automatically be withdrawn?

This looks like it was server (or my) side. Two days before i posted this i got few kicks, day after i have no problems. Maybe different addon interfering. I don't know. But it's okay now

Increasing to 700ms and depositing a lot of different items w/o problems

Yes
Character 1 can deposit whatever wants and character 2 withdraw everything, but leaves a certain amount in bank

I'm glad to hear that; thanks for the feedback. I might change the functionality a bit in the future so that the addon will automatically try to re-deposit in such cases without sending a failure message to the chat.

Would you see one slider that affects all item types or one slider per item type? A one-slider solution I could agree on to include in a future version, but I don't want to add one slider for each item type as it will unnecessarily increase the complexity of the Settings UI, which I'd like to keep as simple as possible.

I think one slider should be enough for that

Edit: But dunno if this would be solved by percentage or value, for runes, there is maximum stack 20 for blues, althrough rest of items has max 100 in stack

Thank you for this very useful add-on!

PA Bank - Hide all messages doesnít hide anything.

Suggestion:
Junk tab should be a category of items to bag/bank as if it was an item type. I have mules that also do quick gathering around the bank NPC. They donít run to merchants to sell junk. They put all junk with value in the bank so a toon that does visit merchants can sell.

The current option regarding items flagged as junk is only for items in a category set to be moved between bag/bank and also flagged as junk. Things like drink, food, and recipes are not items that get moved by PA. I have an add-on that auto marks items as junk based on rules I set. It also auto destroys anything marked as junk with a zero value. It auto sells junk at vendors. Iíd like PA to move junk items, regardless of item type, between bag and bank based in the per toon settings in PA.

You're right. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll fix this with the next version.

So something like a dropdown (in regards of depositing/withdrawing junk) where you can choose between: "no junk" ; "junk matching itemTypes" ; "all junk"?
Good idea, I'll add this in the next version as well.

I've been meaning to write this bug report for a long time, and I'm finally taking some time to do it today. This error has been around pretty much since I first started using this add-on. It's not anything that bad, but hopefully it can be fixed.

There's 2 runes that absolutely never get transfered. The add-on will transfer everything from the bank to inventory, except these 2 runes.

These are the problematic runes:

Every time I gotta remember to manually move them because even though the add-on says it has moved them, it really didn't. And it ONLY happens with them. I've gone from enchanting 1-40 and did lots of moving of runes from bank to mule, mule to bank, and that never happens to any runes other than these 2.

Could you please take a look at why there's an issue with those 2 runes please?

Other than that, I absolutely love the add-on. I just switch around my 7 crafting mules at ease now thanks to this add-on.

Oooh, I know why this happens. Apparently there are some runes you can only stack to 20, when other you can stack up to 100 like the other items. Currently, PA always assumes that 100 is the max stack size and if you would exceed this then the deposit fails. Which is exactly what happens in your case...

I'll implement a dynamic solution for the next version, that will first evaluate the max stack size. I hope it will be ready by the end of this week.

Thanks for reporting this!

Auto stack option

So far I have found this to be an amazing tool, but I was wondering if an option to auto stack or auto fill stacks could be added for example:
I already have bugloss, lady's smock & water hyacinth stored in my bank for making a certain potion but I do not wish to have all the other alchemy mats stored, is there a way to add an option that will see what is in the bank & auto fill those stacks currently stored?

I used to use Bank Stuffer but it is out of date & no longer working properly I was hoping instead of having to find a replacement for it that this feature could be added to yours.

Thank you for your time & for an excellent add on.

This is something I had in my mind for a while. Currently PA also does not (yet) support to merge splitted stacks in the bank.
I will definitely implement this in an upcoming release, but I'm not sure yet how to design the settings screen to keep it simple but still allow a different variety of options.

Thank you all for your positive feedback!

Great addon

This is definitely one of my favorite addons. It does it's job wonderfully without the invasive displays of many addons. Very well done.
