  • added option to auto "Add All". This option will add all filtered items to be deconstructed on opening the station or assistant.

Features
  1. Refine
    1. Adds the option to only show raw materials there are enough to refine. (10 or more)
  2. Deconstruct
    1. Adds the "Carried" tab
      • this tab only show items carried in the "Backpack"
      • all items are sorted the same as originally.
    2. Changes the original tabs ( Jewelry, Weapons, Apparel )
      • now only shows banked items
    3. Disables and removes the option to show banked items in keyboard mode since it becomes redundant.
  3. Deconstruction Assistant
    1. Adds the "Carried" tab
      • this tab only show items carried in the "Backpack"

      • by cefualt it is only added to Refine and the "Carried" tab and can be added to the other tabs be setting "Use Add All for others".
    2. "Open to Deconstruct" {requested by K1nor}
      • auto-opens to Deconstruct and slects the "Carried" tab if you are carying items that pass the filters.
      • use with caution. Some addons require opening the station to a specific tab. Using this option could cause issues with those addons.
    3. "Auto open Assistant."
      • skips the dialogue and slects the "Carried" tab if you are carying items that pass the filters.
    4. "Auto Add All"
      • this option will auto "Add All" filtered items to be deconstructed on opening the station or assistant.
    5. "Filters"
      • include Default -- Items not covered by the other filters
      • include Set Items
      • include Ornate
      • include Intricate
      • include Retraited
      • include Reconstructed
      • include Researchable

Each filter has it's own:
  • include only items at or above the Min Quality set.
  • include only items at or below the Max Quality set.
If a filter is not enabled, anything that would be included in that filter will be excluded from "Add All"

If using FCO CraftFilter, when not viewing "Carried" tab, selecting to hide banked items will result in an empty list. The original tabs* only show banked items.

I misread your posts. "No error messages". hmm

Addons that focus on inventory filters?

That just leaves disabling addons until you it works.
Actually, first, Addon Selector (Save AddOn profiles/packs) so you can save all currently active addons and libs as a set so they can all be turned back on with one click.
To start the test, disable all. Enable Decon Carried list and click on the arrow to the left of it and click on each red required.
You should see it working as it should.
Enable the libs you normally have active. See if it's working. If it's not, then it's one of the libs. Then narrow down what Lib is causing it.
If it is, then start enabling addons. You can enable groups of them, several at a time.
When it stops working then you can find what one caused it.

I wanted to be sure I'm not running something that's somehow allowing it to work for me, I just disabled everything and checked. It worked as intended.

If you get an error from an addon, the copy it. Go into the addon manager and check that box in the top right to show advanced errors.
When the error happens, Tab out of the game. Move the mouse pointer over where the UI error box was. Tab back into the game. Click inside the error box where the error text is. Select all and copy it.

Paste it in where you are reporting it or attempting to get help.
If it's here, once again select the error text and click the little blue button above ("Wrap [highlight=lua] around selected text.").

This addon seams to be working as intended. I need the detailed error message to be able to see what's going on.
Whatever's causing the error is why there is nothing in the carried tab. Sounds like it's happing on the start of the search. Which could be caused by any number of things that deal with the inventory causing a conflict. First, we start with the error message. If it's not helpful, then it's time to check for conflicting addons.

EDIT:
The other option is to use libDebugLogger.
After you get the error message, reload the ui.
Locate the libDebugLogger savedvariables.
Import it to https://sir.insidi.at/or/logviewer/
On the "Files" tab, there is an "Upload" button to get a shareable link. Share that with me.
This option is actually better. It will allow me to see a lot more than the error.

Also, I can't recall if I made changes to the saved variables, could try deleting the ones for this addon and seeing if that helps.

Nothing showing in Carried tab

Since the latest game update nothing shows in the Carried tab at all. I get no error messages in game. I have the latest version of the addon. How can I help with debugging this issue?

I've rewrote how the filters are handled.
They now go from top to bottom as listed in the settings.
Before, if an item was a set item, it would default to that filter no matter if it would also fall under the other filters.

Now, it works in version 3.2.1 is as follows:
filter = "default"
if is set item, filter = "setItem".
if has one of the "item traits" (noted by the icon added to the item/ ornate...) filter = ['itemTrait'].

Before:
filter = "default"
if is set item, filter = "setItem".
if item is not a set item and has one of the "item traits" filter = ['itemTrait']r.

It prioritized set items over the other filters.


if filter.enabled then does item pass quality filter
if it's not enabled then don't add item.

It should be already set to disabled. it's in the settings.
If you have it turned off, I'll have to see what's going on.

Currently, if it's a set item, it will fall under that filter.

Hi, I have to check settings when I sign onto ESO later,but when using it yesterday I fly thru it so quick clicking on what to decon I sometimes click on the researchable gear and deconned some items by mistake.

I don't want to lock that gear because I am using another addon " Auto Research " that auto researches but I can't have gear lock for it to work.

Anyway,I'll check the settings to see what's up. Thanks for the quick reply !

Amazing addon, thanks for making my life as gamepad user easier. A question or maybe a suggestion, could you make it so it auto selects or even auto deconstructs everything that is in the "carried" category. Would save me a few button presses. Thank you, great work!

Thank you for this information. I'm going to look into it and, add some changes.
I'm going to add a feature, "Warn if BOP and Tradeable". This will allow the inclusion of such items unless ignore is enabled. A dialogue will pop up initially when "Add All" is pressed if there are any items that are BOP and Tradeable not already added to decon.

Could the Epic Items be protected by FCO Item Saver?

I've done the steps you described, and still have not seen this issue.
I was hoping that I would so that I could fix something that's broke.

If you are using any addon that does something with the inventory or equipment, let me know. could be a conflict or protection feature

about that autocategory

Ok, I haven't checked if turning AutoCategory off solves this, but I did manage to reproduce the problem from recent comments AND to find exact contiditons.

So. I'm using AutoCategory - Revisited. Have just installed your addon.

Now the thing is: I change setting to "Use Add All for others" and "Include in Add All" > "Default" to ON without touching anything else: Add all appears and works fine. I tinkered with settings and got that exact problem as described.

Btw. trying to set your addon's setting to Defaults does nothing. I uninstalled, removed saved variables, installed back to get it to the state it came in.

Ok, so once again I carefully turned the "Add All" option on. >> Button appears, adds things.
Default ON: Maximum quality Epic >> Button appears, adds more things
Set items ON: Maximum quality Epic >> Button appears, DOES NOTHING.
Set items ON: Maximum quality (back to) Superior >> Button appears, again adds items fine

Tried to set everything else ON and quality between Fine and Epic and the button still works. Seems that only Epic set items break it.

Yes, I've set up the filters and it works in Gamepad UI, but it does nothing in KB/M UI. Same thing on my wife's PC. Disabling AutoCategory, solves the problem, that is why I say it clashes.
Ok. So it may be a setting in Auto Category that I have not enabled. I'll go through them and check.

EDIT:
I've still been unable to duplicate the issue. Are you using "Auto Category - Revised (8.1.5)"?
