From Dolby and I and all of our volunteers, we hope you have a happy and safe holiday season and that your new year is filled with peace and joy.

*Please note that due to the holidays, approval of addons or responses to messages may be slower than usual as everyone will be spending time celebrating the season with family and friends.

Minion Users
After patching to One Tamriel your Addons folder is not in the same place as before if you used to play from Europe.

You will see "The Elder Scrolls Online (NA)" on the left of the patcher instead of EU. This turns out to be a known thing and is not a bug, ignore that.
You get to choose your server in game at the logon screen. Although in my opinion the term "Live-EU" is too technical and not user friendly.

But your addons folder is no longer under a "liveeu" folder, that folder has gone. All your addons will now be under a "live" folder.

Notes for EU Minion users:
You will want to change the settings in Minion to now point at the live folder instead of the liveeu folder.
There is a slight bug which will create 2 empty folders when you launch Minion until you have changed the addon folder location it uses.
Once you have launched Minion if you do have empty folder for liveeu/Addons then you can delete those.

- Thanks Weolo.

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v2.6.4, featuring One Tamriel! This update opens up the world of Tamriel for you to explore any time, and play with your friends no matter what level you are. Due to the significant changes One Tamriel brings to ESO, we’ve adjusted much of the current content and systems.

In this update, you’ll find that we’ve made Craglorn more solo-friendly, added Normal and Veteran modes for all 4-player dungeons, re-designed the Undaunted Pledge system, and made some fairly sizeable itemization changes and updates – you’ll definitely want to check out all the details below.

In addition to One Tamriel, we’ve also added dueling, Weapon Ultimates, and added new daily quests. We’ve also added 16 new Monster Masks, and raised the Champion Point cap by 30 points. As with previous updates, we’ve also implemented many fixes and improvements to previous DLC game packs and the base game patch. The size for this update is approximately 2.3GB. Enjoy, and see you in Tamriel!

The introduction of One Tamriel has brought upon a number of significant UI changes that we want to call out below.
  • We added an indicator to your Character window that shows how effective your equipment is at your current level. Higher level and quality equipment will provide a larger bonus. Equipment with traits, enchantments, and/or item set bonuses will also provide a larger bonus.
  • Removed a monster’s level from the target frame since every monster essentially has the same level through One Tamriel.
  • Quest givers offering repeatable quests now have a different colored icon over their head to help differentiate those quests from non-repeatable quests.
  • Updated quest messaging to help differentiate between group quests located inside and outside of dungeons.
  • Updated zone messaging to help differentiate between Dungeons, Group Delves, and other group areas.

  • Fixed an issue where long character names would sometimes overlap with character locations on the Character Select screen.
  • Fixed an issue where collectibles would claim they were hidden by the 'Hide Helmet' option even though they were visible.
  • Fixed the alignment of the green revive glow behind town icons.
  • Fixed an issue where acquiring your first mount may not initially show it as active in the UI.

  • Added a message in the inventory screen confirming that "Stack All Items" has been applied.
  • Quest pins will now properly direct you while inside a dungeon and looking at an exterior map.
  • Fixed an issue where the group leader's name would be a different color than other group member names in the group member unit frames.
  • Fixed an issue where debug text would occasionally appear in tutorials and center-screen announcements.
  • Fixed an issue where manually looting an item that could go to your Craft Bag would fail if your inventory was full.

  • Added new background screenshots on the login screen.
Alliance War
  • Updated the tooltips for the Lightning Ballista and Oil Catapult to better describe the debuff they apply.
  • Fixed an issue in the Campaign Queue UI where the text explaining why you can't queue would get cut off.
  • The Cyrodiil map legend now has an icon and label for Towns.
  • Enchanting a bind-on-pickup tradeable item will now warn you that modifying the item will bind it to you.
Crown Store

Gamepad Mode

  • Fixed an issue where navigating to the Crown Store from the Featured Products announcement would cause a UI error.
  • Made several fixes and improvements to the map quest list:
    • It will now grey out the “Set Active” keybind when it is already active.
    • The tooltip will now refresh when first bringing up the list and when your active quest changes.
    • Fixed an issue where the list wasn't populating if you switched from keyboard mode.
  • Fixed an issue where you could access the mail and champion menus while your character was dead.
  • Added descriptions to Tamriel and The Aurbis in the Locations list.
  • You will now be able to buy items with a full inventory if it can stack with something else in the inventory, or can be placed directly in the craft bag.
  • The icon for dungeon difficulty will now update when the difficulty is changed.
  • Fixed an issue where text in the keybind strip would overlap while queued for a dungeon on the French game client.
  • Fixed an issue where the group channel would not appear in the text chat menu.
  • Fixed an issue where text chat would only display the last 10 messages instead of the last 200.
  • Fixed an issue where some health bar options were improperly gated based on nameplates being activated.
  • Quest tooltips now update properly when the active quest changes.
  • The quest icon now appears on the same line as the title in the map tooltip for quests.
  • The Submit button on the trade window will now be disabled until one of the trading players offers something.
  • Fixed an issue that would reset the selected position in a Social list to the top if the list was updated while browsing.

  • Stat modifiers will now be displayed when spending attribute points while your level is scaled.
  • Updated the icons and tooltips for several active effects that previously shared a blue skull icon. These now have more specific icons and tooltips, based on the type of effect.
  • The term "Non-Combat Pet" is now used across the game to describe collectible pets.
  • Added a warning message about binding bind-on-pickup tradeable items when attempting to upgrade them at a Crafting Station.
  • Fixed an issue where the third reagent slot would not properly clear from the Alchemy window when you reset your skills, which removed the Laboratory Use passive.
  • Fixed an issue where the highlight for the selected Guild Heraldry style could disappear after selecting it.
  • Costumes and Polymorphs are now temporarily hidden while editing your Guild Heraldry to ensure the tabard is reliably visible.

I hope all you wonderful people had a fantastic holiday. I did! I spent it sick, but met some fun people to run stuff with in game.

Anyways, Winter Quarter and work are starting up again real soon so I'll try to get out weekly updates. I have some new plans for Gold! and I also have a couple other addons that I'd like to put together.
