[Edit] The new author has responded and stated that it was in there for testing purposes only, and that he has returned all the money he received. In the nature of giving people the benefit of the doubt and a second chance - if anyone who was bitten by this 'test' could let me know if they have actually received the money back by the author (not a GM), I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Just to make sure everyone is aware:

The 'new' author of Atlas changed some code in it to make it so that you mailed all of your money to his character. If you got the version posted by the new author, version # 1.3.2 (download may show 1417671638), you need to get rid of it immediately. We have pulled that version from the site and restored the last version that CrazyDutchGuy had posted. You want version 1.30a. If you had not updated to the new version by the new author and are still using version 1.30, you are fine and don't need to do anything.

If you did use the version by the new author and did lose all of your money, send in a ticket to the GMs, letting them know that you'd been hacked by the addon. They are aware of the situation and will restore your money (once they've verified it on their end).

Sorry this happened folks. :/

OVERVIEW

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v1.5.2, our fifth major content update! We have many new features in store for you.

In this update, we’ve added Veteran City of Ash, the continuation of the dungeon City of Ash, and implemented our improved facial animations so NPCs will look more realistic when you speak to them. We’ve also implemented the next phase of the Veteran Rank improvements, which you can read more about below.

We’re introducing both dungeon scaling and solo-instance scaling in this update so you can go back and revisit some of your favorite dungeons, and have also implemented new Undaunted Enclaves and Pledges that you can perform every 20 hours.

Crafters have a lot to look forward to as well! You’ll be able to undertake certification, as well as crafting writs and survey reports once you’re certified. You’ll want to read more about this further down. In addition, we’ve added the Dwemer crafting style, and Twice-Born Star item set.

Last but certainly not least, you can check out our new chat bubbles, still in Beta form, but you’ll have to enable them first in the Settings menu.

In addition to all the new features, we’ve gone through and polished the game to address many issues with regards to combat, gameplay, dungeons, quests, and more.

UI

General
  • Added a system message when attempting to interact with a guild trader during transitioning periods.
  • You can now press the "." (period) key to enter mouse mode while using siege weapons.
  • Fixed an issue when changing to fullscreen mode, the resolution settings were not being saved.
  • Added an error message when you attempt to read a book from the Lore Library that you have not discovered yet.
  • Fixed an issue if you clicked on the scroll arrow of a tutorial popup after resizing the game window, the game could occasionally crash.
  • Removed the sound you hear when leaving a text field (for example, User ID or Password.) You will still hear a sound when clicking on a text field.
  • If you die after taking fall damage, the fall damage will now correctly appear in the death recap window.
  • Fixed an issue where viewing a filtered-out achievement was causing UI errors.
  • When a character is deleted from the character select screen, the model will now disappear immediately.
  • Increased the display time of the center screen announcement when someone has been crowned or dethroned as Emperor.
  • Fixed an issue where some quests that required you to gather items would display confusing information when only a single item was required.
  • Added E as a keybind for selecting the first conversation option, and X for selecting the last conversation option. This is in addition to number keys 1-5 also selecting conversation options.
  • Updated the Alliance War flag capture UI.

  • When allocating attribute points, you will once again be able to see how the points will affect your stats.

OVERVIEW

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v1.3.3, our third major content update.

In this update, we’ve added armor dye stations where you can change the color of your armor with dyes you unlock through achievements. We’ve also added and improved many guild features including the addition of guild heraldry, guild traders, and improved guild management.

Another exciting change is the updates to our campaigns in Cyrodiil. We’ve implemented new campaign options, each with their own rule set.

Alongside these new features, you’ll find many fixes to quests, combat, art, and audio. We’re also continuing to work on the overall class balance, but are doing so carefully so as not to impact your build too much.

Of immediate interest for our users:

UI
General
  • When you’re in a different channel with group members, but in the same zone, you will now get an auto-prompt to travel to the group leader.
  • Fixed an issue so food buffs as shown within the stamina and magicka bars will now persist while traveling to a new zone.
  • Fixed an issue where if you entered a menu before a trade invitation was accepted, all items from the trade window would appear missing.
  • Fixed an issue so the Spell Critical Strike chance from The Thief mundus stone will now display on your character sheet.
  • Fixed an issue with the dialog options while talking with the Quartermaster about inspecting a keep.
  • Fixed an issue where some Points of Interest would remain on the compass when you left an area and later returned.
  • Fixed an issue where the Keep details tooltip from the Cyrodiil map would not disappear after using a Transitus Shrine.
  • Fixed an issue where pins for your group members would not show up on maps while you were inside an instanced area.

  • The Gaited Horse now shows its speed upgrade visuals correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where some crafted glyphs would initially filter to the Materials tab of your inventory instead of the Miscellaneous tab.

Okay, we have a couple more important things to let you guys know about that have resulted from the patch:

First, it seems that there has been a change (we think bug, but getting that verified) to the Saved Variables files, which includes your AddOns settings. Previously they were saved under your ["@username"]. It seems that they are saved under [""] now. What this means is that if you log into the game without having made the necessary change in your files, and if you didn't keep a backup of them, all your addon settings will be reverted to the default settings. If you haven't yet logged in, or if you have a backup of them, there is a fix you can use. All you need to do is:
  • Go to your Documents folder (the same one that you had to use to install your addons)
  • Go to your Elder Scrolls folder
  • Go to your Live folder
  • Go to your SavedVariables folder
  • MAKE A BACKUP OF THIS FOLDER!
  • You should see a listing of files for each addon you used. They will be named [AddOnName].lua
  • You can open those files using any text editor (I'd say just use NotePad). Right click the file name, choose Open With and pick whatever editor you want to use
  • Somewhere close to the top of the .lua file will be a line that says ["@Username"]
  • Change that to replace ["@Username"] with [""].
  • Save and close.
Do this for each of the addon .lua files that you have in that folder. Once you've done all of them, you should be able to log into the game and not lose all your settings now.

If it turns out that this was a bug introduced with this patch and Zenimax reverts it, you'll be able to just drop your backup of the SavedVariables folder back in and be all set again. You did make the backup we told you to make, right?!

Next, Zenimax has added an AddOn Terms of Use to the game. If you want to use AddOns in the game, you will need to agree to it before you can use them. The first time you click on the AddOns button in game it will bring the agreement up for you to accept. It reads as follows:

I am currently working on FilterIt.
See the link under Content to the right for information.

Work planned after that: TweakIt, an addon with random tweaks to improve the game. It will contain several small tweaks like replacing "Repair All" when visiting a merchant with "Repair Equipped". Adding a gold price to the "Sell All Junk" keybind strip. One click Improvements bypassing the confirmation window, Show your hero doll while banking, show bank anywhere, 1 click logout, reloadui keybind, exc...
Basically it contains a bunch of small improvements that, although they are all available in random addons, do you really want to install some entire other addon to do who knows what just to get a reloadui keybind, or to get "Repair All" keybind strip replaced with "Repair Equipped" ?

Changes:
