Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited v2.3.5 and the third DLC game pack: Thieves Guild!

Thieves Guild, similar to previous updates, will come in two parts—the DLC game pack, and the base game patch. Aside from hours of new story content, two new delves and group bosses, this update introduces a new Larceny System and various criminal activities. Now under new (old) ownership

After a number of months of negotiations, Dolby and I have some very exciting news to share with all of you! Under our new company, Good Game Mods LLC, we have been able to re-acquire complete ownership of the MMOUI network (all of the interface sites and Minion).

What does this mean for the future of the sites? Well, I can tell you about some of the short term things that we already know: The next few weeks will be spent getting the sites transferred over to our own servers. Coming up soon ™ we will be rolling out a new layout for the sites. We’ve also decided that we are going to honour any existing Zam premium memberships for a while. What we will do about a new premium membership in the future has yet to be decided.

We are sure you may have questions for us, so feel free to ask them here. We will answer them as best we may, but please understand that we obviously don’t have all of the answers right now. Where things will go in the long term, well, we’ll just have to see.

The best news of all, at least in our opinions, is that we aren’t going anywhere. Dolby and I are still as dedicated to the UI communities we’ve built today as we were the day we opened the sites. You can’t get rid of us that easily.

Dec 22, 2015 - 10:38 PM - by Cairenn
From Dolby and I and all of our volunteers, we hope you have a happy and safe holiday season and that your new year is filled with peace and joy.

*Please note that due to the holidays, approval of addons or responses to messages may be slower than usual as everyone will be spending time celebrating the season with family and friends.

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited v2.1.4, our first DLC game pack: Imperial City! We have some really exciting content in store for you.

The Imperial City comes in two parts—the DLC game pack, and the base-game patch. The base-game patch will be available to everyone who owns The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, and the DLC game pack will automatically download with it, allowing you instant access to the new content when you purchase it, or activate an ESO Plus membership.

Anyone who owns ESOTU and has an active ESO Plus membership will also automatically have access to the Imperial City DLC game pack. If your ESO Plus membership ends or lapses, you will no longer have access to the Imperial City DLC game pack content and areas, but you will still have any items you earned while you had access. If you do not have an active ESO Plus membership you can purchase the DLC game pack for 2,500 crowns via the in-game Crown Store.

Take a nostalgia trip as you wander through the Imperial City Districts and Sewers, though be on your guard – other players will be lurking around every corner trying to slay you for your Tel Var Stones. You can also gather a group and try to conquer the White-Gold Tower and Imperial City Prison; both are 4-player instanced dungeons. We’ve also added almost two dozen new item sets, a number of fun, new collectibles, and have introduced two new motifs: Xivkyn and Glass!

In addition to Imperial City, we have made many improvements to Cyrodiil, its campaigns, and rewards which you can read more about below.

Due to the Veteran Rank increase with this update, every dungeon will now scale to the maximum Veteran Rank - VR16 - and we have also added three new Undaunted Pledges for you to complete.

Along with all the new content and systems, we have made many improvements and fixes to existing content including combat, gameplay, crafting, dungeons, quests, game performance, and more. Due to the number of fixes in this update, all skill points will be refunded upon login.

We hope you enjoy our latest update, which will be approximately 10GB in size, and look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!

  • While moving your ground target around for ground-based abilities, the target will now stop at the maximum range for that ability.
  • Previously, the ground target would continue to move beyond the valid range for these abilities, and subsequently could not be cast.
  • If you wish to use the previous behavior, you may do so by going into the Settings > Gameplay Menu. Under the Combat section, you will find a setting labelled “Ground Targeting Range Lock”.
  • Improved ground targeting so ground-based abilities will attempt to cast at the nearest valid location if you are targeting an invalid location, and also improved the overall feedback when successfully casting a ground-based ability.
  • You can now set keybinds for Weapon Set 1 and Weapon Set 2.
  • These can be found in the keybind window under the Combat menu. By default, these are unbound.
Grouping Tools
  • Fixed an issue if you selected a role at the same time a group search started, the icon to toggle roles could not be used.
Guilds & Guild Store
  • Guilds with less than ten members can no longer deposit gold into the guild bank, but can still withdraw gold (assuming they have the appropriate rank to do so).
  • Guild Member Notes will no longer appear (either as an icon or text) for those that don’t have the “Read Member Note” privilege.
  • Sorting preferences by price in the Guild Store will now be stored when you leave and revisit the store.
  • There will now be an indication if you don’t have enough gold to purchase Guild Items from within the Guild Store.
  • The prompt to list items for sale in the Guild Store is now disabled if you do not have any gold.
  • The instructions in the Sell tab within the Guild Traders is no longer obscured by ellipses.
  • You will now be denied from entering the guild chat channel if you do not have proper permissions.
  • You will now receive the message "You cannot mail that recipient" when attempting to send mail to someone who is ignoring you.
  • You will now get an error message if you receive an attachment that would put you over the maximum gold limit, rather than accepting the attachment and losing the gold.
  • Fixed an issue if you attached an item to a mail or tried to send gold, then switched to C.O.D, the postage would not clear.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented you from sending multiple mail with attachments in a row.
  • The "Link in Chat" function now works for items attached to a piece of mail.
  • You will no longer receive error messages when attempting to send mail after switching between C.O.D. and Send Money.
  • Mail is now disabled while your character is dead.
  • Custom waypoints will no longer disappear when you enter a dungeon.
  • Fixed an issue if a group member would place a new Map Ping and Group Rally Point, you would hear both sets of audio overlapping.
  • Fixed an issue if a group member would place a new Map Ping or Group Rally Point, you would hear the audio no matter what zone you’re in.
  • The “Mousewheel Zoom” UI no longer appears on maps for PvE dungeons where it's impossible to zoom.
  • Fixed an issue where pins for group members would continue to display on the map when they were offline.

Met with the ZOS team at PAX East in Boston over the last weekend. Spent nearly the whole day in the conference room for the panels and talking to them in between. Looking forward to Dark Brotherhood and some of the new content in store. DOOM looks awesome, and Bethesda is putting out Dishonored 2, which looks absolutely incredible.

Hoping to have all my pics from the weekend uploaded soon. Got a REALLY good map of the Maw trial and some photos on concept art. Stay tuned for link.

I updated Clock for the latest Version of ESO.
Should work still fine. ZO didn't change any API function I use.

Have fun playing.

As my first offering to the wanderers of Tamriel I created AutoSlotSwitch, a curious magical thing to make something in your bag temporarily more accessible when you encounter the evil hordes of Molag Bal.

Hey all,

a year ago the ESO-Database has been officially released for the german ESO-Community. To celebrate the first anniversary of the ESO-Database we have a little giveaway. Thanks to @ZOS_KaiSchober who made this giveaway possible.

You can win a Nord figure by Symbiote! Visit the following page to see how you can get qualified for the giveaway. Please note: You need an ESO-Database account in order to see your giveaway status and to participate to the giveaway.

I would thank you all for the great feedback and your ideas over the first year. I love to be a part of the ESO-Community!

Hopefully I see you the next time on ESO-Database with some nice feedback and ideas. There will be more great new features the next time, so have an eye on the news section of the ESO-Database.
